Wrigley

I see that at Wrigley Field, "Nite Game" isn't what is all over the scoreboard this time.

There is no need for a scoreboard at the urinal. Everyone knows all the people at wrigley are just there for the huge mardi gras party in the stands and dont know squat about baseball or the team. They dont need a scoreboard, they need a place to be seen, a cellpone, beers, bars within walking distance and a casual fan base of supporters. Wrigley, i mean the the urinal is not real enough in this game. They dont have the fans with there backs to the game socializing in groups in the stands like they do in real life. I think someone should address this in a mod.

Even though I don't follow the Cubs as much as I would like to, they are sill my second favorite team. When you insult Cubs fans like you did here, prepare for a verbal whipping from them. Now, I'm a lover not a fighter so I'm not gonna get started. But, something like that should NEVER be said...ever.

Go insult Cubs fans in Left Field. And know what you're talking about before you start throwing around insults. There's not need to troll in here.

Wrigley field is a classic ballpark, and one of the greatest ever built. Your comments are way off-base, inappropriate, and childish. What MLB player would not want to play a few games in Wrigley?

As for the original thread in this topic, I don't understand what the poster means about no "Nite Games" on the scoreboard. It would be nice if some people around here would explain their questions and comments more clearly.

the original post was about the fact that last year, it said nite games on the scoreboard instead of showin the scores of the other games around the league, and as for joey...try growin some balls and sayin that to the face of a cubs fan, on the street, in left field, on the subway, anywhere, doesnt matter, you wont make it 3 steps. the people at the bleachers are fun lovin baseball fan who go to the game to enjoy themselves in a great park with an amazing atmosphere. and not everyone in the stands is drunk payin no attention to the game, its like sayin everyone in the game is a juicer...its only a certain few, and to say all of them are, is just stupid

I'm trying to be much nicer to everyone around here, but you really are a hateful little man. Random question, you don't have a girlfriend, do you?

I'm looking forward to finally seeing some games at Wrigley in my remaining months in Chicago. I know the ticket buying process is going to be insane, but there's gotta at least be a few tickets available for the average person to get seats without going to scalpers. I mean, it's not like most people really want to see a game vs. the Pirates or the D-backs, right?

Wow, Joey--as a die-hard Reds fan who has worn my Griffey jersey to Wrigley, you're an idiot. The Cubbies have some of the best fans in the nation and their desire to skip school/work is the reason why they have so many afternoon games. Also, why was Great American taken over by Cubs fans in the last series against the Reds last year? Because they're the opposite of what you described them as.

I was at that Friday night game, and I have to say, it was amazing. The Cubs fans absolutely took over GABP. Of course, at the time we were still vying for the wild card, but it was awesome how many Cubs fans made the 5 hour bus trip from Chicago to support the Cubbies.

Though I can't believe the nerve of someone to be so blatantly offensive about Cubs fans, it is true that in the past few years there has been a wave of yuppies and teenagers in the stands at Wrigley who don't seem to be overly concerned about the game of baseball.
