SwinginSoriano
It is awaiting validation, I'll get the .sav up. And for your enjoyment, the words from the 'read me' file. A new Epic File Featuring two new epic teams: 2/11/05 Main changes: - The transactions are up to date - The legends and hero teams are GONE. (I threw the all-star teams into their places.) I know this is going to **** tons of people off, but: 1. This is my file 2. I never use the Heroes or Legends 3. If you don't have any MVP points you can access these teams anyway - Two new teams are in their place, a very cool 1990+ HOF team and a 'joke' team. The joke team is stupid, I admit it, but the HOF team is very cool. Plus it features players I know about, not dudes 50 years ago who would be eaten alive by modern pitching. - Some other little changes like turning Dempster into a reliever and editting some pitch types. - CORRECTED PITCH MOTIONS (YAY!) 1990 + Future Hall of Fame all-time Team (Listed under AL All Stars) Starting Pitching: SP Pedro Martinez 2000: 217.0 IP, 1.74 ERA, 284 Ks, 0.74 WHIP, ERA+ 285 SP Greg Maddux 1994: 202.0 IP, 1.56 ERA, 154 Ks, 0.90 WHIP, ERA+ 273 SP Roger Clemens 1997: 264.0 IP, 2.05 ERA, 292 Ks, 1.03 WHIP, ERA+ 226 SP Randy Johnson 2002: 260.0 IP, 2.32 ERA, 334 Ks, 1.03 WHIP, ERA+ 190 SP Kevin Brown 1996: 233.0 IP, 1.89 ERA, 159 Ks, 120 WHIP, ERA+ 214 SP/LR Tom Glavine 1998: 229.1 IP, 2.47 ERA, 157 Ks, 1.20 WHIP, ERA+ 171 SU Mariano Rivera 1996: 107.2 IP, 2.09 ERA, 130 Ks, 0.99 WHIP, ERA+ 242 CL Trevor Hoffman 1998: 73.0 IP, 1.48 ERA, 86 Ks, 0.85 WHIP, ERA+ 258 C Mike Piazza 1997: .362 AVG, .431 OBP, .638 SLG, 40 HR, 5 SB, 1 CS 1B Mark McGwire 1998: .299 AVG, .470 OBP, .752 SLG, 70* HR, 1 SB, 0 CS 2B Roberto Alomar 2001: .336 AVG, .415 OBP, .541 SLG, 20 HR, 30 SB, 6 CS 3B Scott Rolen 2004: .314 AVG, .409 OBP, .598 SLG, 34 HR, 4 SB, 3 CS SS Alex Rodriguez 2002: .300 AVG, .392 OBP, .623 SLG, 57 HR, 9 SB, 4 CS RF Tony Gwynn 1994: .394 AVG, .454 OBP, .568 SLG, 12 HR, 5 SB, 0 CS LF/CF Rickey Henderson 1990: .325 AVG, .439 OBP, .577 SLG, 28 HR, 65 SB, 10 CS LF Barry Bonds 1996: .308 AVG, .461 OBP, .615 SLG, 42 HR, 40 SB, 7 CS RF/DH Sammy Sosa 2001: .328 AVG, .437 OBP, .737 SLG, 64 HR, 0 SB, 2 CS CF Ken Griffey JR. 1997: .304 AVG, .382 OBP, .646 SLG, 56 HR, 15 SB, 4 CS RF Manny Ramirez 2000: .351 AVG, .457 OBP, .697 SLG, 38 HR, 1 SB, 1 CS 1B/DH Frank Thomas 1994: .353 AVG, .487 OBP, .729 SLG, 38 HR, 2 SB, 3 CS SS Omar Vizquel 1999: .333 AVG, .397 OBP, .436 SLG, 5 HR, 42 SB, 9 CS 2B Jeff Kent 2000: .334 AVG, .424 OBP, .596 OBP, 33 HR, 12 SB, 9 CS C Ivan Rodriguez 1999: .332 AVG, .356 OBP, .558 SLG, 35 HR, 25 SB, 12 CS SS Cal Ripken Jr. 1991: .323 AVG, .374 OBP, .566 SLG, 34 HR, 6 SB, 1 CS 1B Rafael Palmeiro 1999: .324 AVG, .420 OBP, .630 SLG, 47 HR, 2 SB, 4 CS Obvious Question: Why the hell are Kevin Brown and Omar Vizquel on the team? Why not Derek Jeter and Curt Schilling? Not so obvious answer: Because I feel Kevin "Asshole" Brown and Omar Vizquel are very underappreciated players who I feel should be hall of famers, yet no one really gives them consideration. Vizquel has not bat but I think he is the best defensive shortstop to ever live. Brown? Won over 200 games, had a Koufaxian stretch from 1996-2003. Better than Schilling as a pitcher. He's a HOF. Too bad Brown is not as good as a postseason pitcher as Schilling, but it isn't like Roger Clemens or Pedro Martinez are great postseason pitchers themselves. Of course, if the postseason was everything then Sterling Hitchcock and John Rocker would deserve to be on the HOF team... Here are the 'snubs' I can think of on the top of my head: Mike Mussina, Derek Jeter, Craig Biggio, Jeff Bagwell, John Smoltz, Andruw Jones, Chipper Jones, Larry Walker, too lazy to think of more. SwinginSoriano
Nobody like "Fat Whiteguy" Man, if this glitch that I am experiencing continues, here's how we can 'live with it': - Turn of team transactions in Dynasty Mode Seems like the game doesn't like when you tamper with the all-star teams and such. yukon2k
sounds great soriano. do you also have a new .mbe version of this file? are the washington nationals listed in this instead of the montreal expos. if yes to the above questions, please e-mail a .mbe version to yukon2k@adelphia.net. thanks in advance - keep up the good work
SwinginSoriano
They will always be the Expos in my file, and the .ZIP includes both the .sav and .mbe. Anyway, this file will be good enough if you turn TRANSACTIONS off... Lastly, where is the validation? :(
