The .sav is coming, I just noticed a glitch though, there are tons of great players in the FA pool for some reason. :| Back to work.

I wonder if the server validated the file yet.

that is because you can not just delete the heros and legends players from within MVPedit

MVP kicks any players not assigned to a team to the FA pool

- Barry Bonds is as good as possible, though there was not enough ability

out there to make him as good as he should be.

You know if you open lhattrib.dat & lhattrib.dat files up in notepad. You can increase contact and power for any player all the way up to 127

You're oldschool like me, I remember messing with those last year. 8)

I have just sent in the 3rd version, hopefully this is 'the one'. Glitch test my roster guys!

Awaiting validation...

you have bonds listed at photo/audio 3000 and face 504

change that to photo/audio 92 and face 2

I have a strange question that maybe only Rglass can answer

I load v3.1 MBE

export with no changes

I then reimport the dats files I just exported

by doing this MVPedit makes a new MBE file

The size of v3.1's MBE files is 5,115,904

The size of the new MBE file is 3,842,048

But I made no changes

So the question is why does the MBE file shrink so much?

i'm not sure about the shrinkage, but i also found it will create another .mbe file. instead of extracting or pasting the v3.1.mbe in the c:my documentsmvp2004 file, extract it into the mvpedit file and it will show up when you click 'open'. you won't have to import/export because it's already an .mbe file

where do you put the .mbe file in the MVP directories, sorry if this is stupid but I am kind of new to this stuff.

Also thanks a ton for the great roster swingin soriano

load the MBE in MVPedit and hit export

path is as SwinginSoriano said

Program Files > EA Sports > MVP Baseball 2004 > Data

The 'final version' is awaiting validation. With MVP 2005 days away, I'm sure not much will care. Anyway, more pitch motions have been fixed, deliveries have been changed, and etc. Hell I fixed some batting stances. But, I still bet there are a ton of things wrong with it.

Anyway, if you need something to hold you over it should be coming soon...
