rade
Hi guys! Many times when I play MVP, I think of pitching system in a MVP. My opinion is that pitching is part of the game that must be as realistic as possible. Pitch is the act of a player on the mound THAT HAS ONE OF THE GREATEST IMPACT ON THE OUTCOME OF A current play, inning or whole ballgame. That is a fact, not my personal opinion. I mentioned several times that MVP baseball is a baseball simulator. So, pitching must not be an easy part of the game. We all know that real pitchers in major league must be very skilled and PATIENT players because they are under big physical and intellectual (emotional) stress when they pitch. Everyone who plays baseball in a real life know that. I was wandering how do you guys pitch in a MVP Baseball. I have a JR Pro sliders datafile and gameplay sliders that make my pitching a very challenging but REALISTIC AND FUN experience. I DO NOT pitch with a 100 percent power ALL THE TIME because my sweet spot in a pitching meter becomes very narrow. As the game progresses it becomes very difficult to pitch with full POWER (100% power). I must be patient and I must actually think hard what to pitch, where to pitch and how hard to throw any particular pitch. I am very interested to hear YOUR experiences about pitching. It will be good to make a small but quality discussion here on a forum about this thing. respectfully Vladimir from Serbia!!!

Glad to hear they're working out for you, rade. I think most people are fooled by the fact that the sliders are based on the Pro Level in MVP. Even as an experienced MVP'er myself, I still find them quite challenging and fun to play with. I realize this post should be posted in the correct forum, as Maestro stated, but I just wanted to reply quickly since you mentioned you were using my slider/datafile set. Thanks for the feedback!
