WinnieThePujols
I'm considering getting MVP 2005 for PC, and was wondering if it wil lruns mooth on my computer. I'm not too good with them(computers) I really don't wanna mess around installing a new graphics card. I have a Dell Dimension 4600, and my question is if MVP 2005 will run smoothly on it. sjbushido
Could you tell me what the video card is? Is it a GForce or ATI.. I know dell sold 4600 with gforceFx and atiradeon
SolidWing68
I was looking a some specs on the 4600 and the only thing that concerned me is Graphics: Integrated Intel® Extreme Graphics 2 or up to 128 MB DDR ATI® 9800 Pro graphics card. So you can have either one of them but if you have the ATI 9800 one you'll be fine. And I dont expect the system reqs for mvp 05 to change from 04 so you should be good. sjbushido
I have a friend that has the 4600 with a Radeon 9800 pro. It's not supposed to have that video card, but the Radeon 9800 TV (regular version). Since he had the PRO version it did not work well because of motherboard difficulties with the video card, so dell stopped putting the PROs in those computers. But if you do have this radeon 9800 with the drivers from www.ati.com , then you should be just fine. The drivers will dramatically change your gameplay. jpup
This is the best card made right now. I would suggest going to another site to get advice, most of these guys don't know what they are talking about. http://reviews.cnet.com/ATI_Radeon_X800_XT...html?tag=promo2

abhall
The X800 XT is a great card, but what you should get all depends on your gaming needs. If you're not a hardcore gamer or you're on a budget why would you want to get a $400-$500 card like an X800 XT? I play 2 games - MVP (mostly) and Madden so I have no use for a top of the line card. I have an ancient ATI Radeon 9200 128 MB and I will have no problems playing MVP 2005, just like I didn't for 2004. This is my 2nd ATI card and both have worked to perfection. http://www.pricewatch.com is the best site to see the prices of video cards.
