I am wanting to get mvp for my laptop this year but just want to know if it is going to handle the graphics ok. I have Athlon 64 2.0ghz processor, 512MB ram, ATI Mobility Radeon 9600 series and I believe its 64MB ram but I think thats shared memory Im not for sure. If anybody knows let me know. By the way Its an Emachine M6810 model if anybody out there has one.

Thanks,

Aaron

Looking at the 2003 and 2004 system requirement make me believe that yes you should be able to run it fine with that machine.

56k Modem for online gameplay

Windows-compatible mouse

Windows-compatible Keyboard

2004

it will work fine as long as the requirements stay the same..though prolly not at max graphics

Why not? My system is basically s*** when compared to his, yet I can run the game at max setting without a problem.

You will get very little improvement by overclocking that video card.

You can get a much better video card for very little $$$$.

wow 8O my comp must be messed up. 8O

Snash, it is not you computer. Many people that have fast processors experienced problems with MVP04. I have the same problems that many complain about and here are my specs.

AMD Athlon 2500 Overclocked to 2.45 ghz

ASUS MB

1 Gig Corsair PC3200 XMS Series

Chaintech Geforce FX5900XT 128MB Overclocked

I have the same damn problems and my computer system is extremely fast. Most people that have not complained do have lower end computer systems along with the graphics card. I see people running MVP perfectly fine using the Geforce MX series card. If they used this card playing games such as FarCry and Doom3, there is no why on gods earth that the card could hold up with settings maxed out. However, I can run these graphic extensive games maxed out and it runs it flawlessly. It makes no sense to me. Hope MVP05 will run fine and at a consistant 60FPS. After all, Brinkman from EA claimed that the game will run at 60FPS on all platforms. Keeping my fingers crossed.
