rroy0824
DadofTwins and rroy0824 are both at 11-3, and both have the same picks for tonight. More than likely it'll come down to those two, with the total score deciding the winners. Still though, there are three guys behind them at 10-4. It could get interesting. Nice i did good this week. Too bad the ref had to blow that Lions game though, id be 12-2 and by myself in first, oh well. BTW me and DadofTwins have the same point totals for the Monday night games, so if it comes down to it how will that work? Closest to the real score? Closest to the real score? lol, I didn't even notice that you both had the same total points in both games. I have to admit, I don't think I've ever seen it this close. Looks like we'll have to do what you suggested. Whoever comes closest to the real score wins. I really don't know any other way.

Just an idea, but an alternative to the closest score as a second tie-breaker could be who made their selections first.
DadOfTwins
No one more surprised at the results than I. Don't worry guys, it won't last..LOL As far as a tiebreaker...I don't see the need at this point really, since it's a cumulative thing. There's not any reason that there HAS to be a distinct leader at this point. Stuff will shake out over the season. If it's a tie, let it be a tie....hell, I may go 0-fer next week..ya never know. Lots of teams 1-0 at this time in the NFL...and there's nothing wrong with that. Same should apply here IMHO.

DadOfTwins
Fun stuff! Like I said earlier, I'm sure my doing so well was a fluke, as will be borne out over the season. In the past when I've done stuff like this, I do tend to start out strong....then die later. Point is, fear not.....plenty of games/weeks to go!! Oh...and GO STEELERS!!! Who told KC they could have some type of TEAM this year. <_<

Something to do while we wait for baseball in the spring. Yep...especially since my Angels are all but out of it (still a slim mathematical chance, but we all know how THOSE typically work out). When do you think you'll have next weeks' slate of games up for picking?

DylanBradbury
Thank-you so much for running this Joe, it'll be a lot of fun. Monday night was crazy. I think only laroquece picked the Chiefs. P.S. I think you forgot to update Andy's W-L total, I think he's 8-8, not 7-7.
laroquece
Monday night was crazy. I think only laroquece picked the Chiefs. Here is the schedule for Week 1: MON, SEP 13 Baltimore at NY Jets (17 - 6) = 23 San Diego at Kansas City (14 - 17) = 31 jejeje that´s correct my friend, in fact the scores on those two games was pretty close on my choices Baltimore 10 - 9 NY Jets San Diego 14 - 21 Kansas City

emath2432
We used to do this back in the day over on Simcentral.net. Since not many people come around there anymore, I am not even sure if they still do it. I actually finished 3rd one year, but for the most part I will usually end up one of the cellar dwellers. JoeRudi26
Something occurred to me as I was typing up the schedule for Week 2 of the NFL picks. Although the initial rules were to add up total wins for the entire NFL season to decide the overall winner, I will also be noting the weekly winners as well. This allows those that either weren't here to pick in Week 1 to compete, or anyone else that decides to jump in at any given week. Also, there may be some that picked in Week 1 that may miss a week or two, thus basically ruling out their chances for overall wins as compared to those who pick every week. In other words, it's just for fun, and I'll total the wins in both ways. However you want to play (weekly, or overall season) is up to you. It's all in fun.
