As for your issues with the search tool, I've never had an issue.

EDIT: I added a period after the website, which caused it to get a 404 error. Sorry about that.

your link didn't work ,thanks for trying though .as for the the search it couldn't find any of the tools i mentioned and need for the downloads i want .Why doesn't anybody

include the installing tool with there mod ? they must have it already and are going to the trouble to make a mod why not make it usable for someone who's never used a mod before?

I can't find any support that allows me to install a basic roster mod, which is what this website is for i thought ,very strange the reasoning here.

Granted i am new here but Ive never had trouble with other websites finding necessary tools to use the website before. plexing it is .Whomever runs this site might want to take my advice and make it easier to find the tools required for these mods,unless it's a secret of course .is there some nerdy password required ?

I fixed the website. Try it now.

As well, the installing tools are kraw's. Other modders can't include or use mods for their mods without permission. That's why you aren't going to see Kraw's TIT included in someone else's mod.

Nearly every download on this website will have a readme with installation instructions. To install a mod, just follow the instructions.

Somehow I doubt he'll be taking that advice; he has a functioning brain stem. If you already have the required installation tool downloaded, wouldn't it irk you just a little to have to download it every single time you wanted a mod, only to delete it immediately? If you take bandwidth into consideration as well, it makes it an even worse idea.

Example;

Mod size = 1MB.

Installation tool size = 5MB.

Without the installer included in package, a user downloads 2 mods, both 1MB in size. Total bandwidth transfer in that case would be 7MB - 2MB for the 2 mods, 5MB for the installer.

With the installer included in the package, that same user downloads the same 2 mods. Total bandwidth transfer is now 12MB - 2MB for the 2 mods, and 10MB for the 2 installer downloads.

Now imagine that multiplied by the actual number of downloads per day on this site. Total bandwidth transfer would be increased by almost 72% using the above example.

There are reasons for things being the way they are. It isn't a big conspiracy to make it as difficult as possible. As Dylan said, installing mods is remarkably easy as long as you're willing to read the readme files and do your own research.

if you can't find support for how to install a roster, that's all on you and there's no help anyone here could do for you. this site alone is full of threads and tutorials on how to do it. you aren't looking hard enough if you haven't found it yet. just start on the front page for instance. there's two links that are a great place to start. one is markb's faq list and the other is the mvp mods for dummies by xiberger. i don't know how this site could make it any easier to find than by placing it on the front page in big bold letters, and with a picture none the less. i know you're new, but that should be all the more reason for you to ask before you complain about something that's right in front of you.

You don't even know what you did. You insulted some of the best modders on this website and over at Mlbmods. And I re-read the answers that you got and the response you got from Homer explained everything you needed to know. There is an FAQ list thread and a Mvp for Dummies thread on the main page. Go there and read. That's all that is being told to you. And a bit of friendly advice, if you keep on insulting these people who have been here for years and who are knowledgeable about these mods, you are not going to get help from anyone.

Now all I can do is hope I don't get blamed for this thread going straight to hell.
