Thank you very much! Now how about the mods and utilities for that game? I still have it and would like to update all my rosters for that game! Any mods out there for that? And will MVPedit work for that game? Edited October 14, 2010 by RobbieG1977

There is hardly anything for MVP 2003, so I doubt there'd be any mods for 2002. MVPedit only works for MVP 2005. Sorry to dash hopes. Yankee4Life
excellant, thanks! Now why can't I find sites like that. It does take a little time. But when you find them you bookmark them and that way you don't forget them.
SubwayGuy
darn I know there used to be something but I formatted my hard drive and lost it. If you're referring to editing the Triple Play games, a guy under the nickname of "El Salsero" used to make a roster editor for the 2000 and 2001 games. I never bought 2002 so I don't know if he made one for that, but you could use that and the EA graphics editor to insert new photos, change stats and ratings, and even change player names, height/weight, etc. and copy players. I don't know where to find it anymore. I haven't played Triple Play (I had 2001) since I lost the CD for the game about 5 years ago.

RobbieG1977
Hello folks.... I finally was able to locate the player editor and start to edit the roster. I soon realized the roster I found was for the 2003 season. At this rate it will take me forever to get the roster up to par for all 30 MLB teams for the 2011 season. Here is my question. Do any of you know if it is possible to take 2k11 roster data and convert it to an .att file so that I can use that as the updated roster for Triple Play. I have 2k11. I simply don't like it. If that can't be done, does anybody know how or where to get the latest and greatest roster for Triple Play. If that can't be done, does anybody know how to do it. If you do maybe we could chat about it and I could even pay you for your time and work! Thanks...

zzcoolj21
Man, Triple play baseball was such a fun game. My brother and I would always choose Bonds in the home run derby and see who could hit the most. The problem with that derby is the hitters wouldn't tire so you could hit as many home runs as you wanted till you got bored.Good times. eddymvp
Compatibility mode, i found a PC with windows XP and it worked there. I think the game doesn't run on 64 bit OS. Any of you happens to have a copy of el Salsero roster editor?
BigRog
i have literally searched everywhere online and it seems all the links to that editor you speak of are broken. If it was once here, its gone now when the download section went through a overhaul. If it was ever on our site, the only person who would have it would be y4l because i know he saved a lot of old files but as he said he didn't have it either, so your probably out of luck
eddymvp
Thanks for researching this for me, the reason why I wanted was to compare some values as I'm trying to make an editor. I know nobody will use it, but I just started working with binary files and I always wondered how that file was encrypted.
NuJerz2001
Any news on MVP 2003 updates? As far as I'm concerned best baseball game ever!! Holla!
Jim825
The last post in this thread before yours was 16 months ago, so I would say that it's safe to say that there is no news. The only games still being actively modded are MVP2005 and MLB2K12.
