MarkB
Every page now extends beyond 800x600 for some reason. It was fine yesterday (Although most threads went over it as well due to quotes sections being massive for some reason), but today every page on the forums extend beyond 800x600. Anything changed, Trues?
RonBurgundy
Whoa, you use 800 X 600? Jeez. Tough luck man.
Trues
hmm...I just tested this on my wife's computer @ 800x600 and it looks ok here.

MarkB
I have it set to medium. Even this page is exceeding the screen size. Yep, Donut, I still use 800x600. It's not a problem until something like this occurs or people design websites specificaly for higher resolutions.

MarkB
I was thinking of that a while back, never quite got around to it. What's causing it?
MarkB
OK, the pages are fine on the messages and links section, which leads me to this: If the pushpin map link was only added to the list at the top yesterday (which it must have been), that might be extending the page a little, just enough to push it over the limit. I'm going to download Firefox just now and see if that has the problem as well.
JoltinJoeCarter
i dont have the problem.Mozilla FireFox is the best browser.
MarkB
I'm using it now, and it's much faster than IE! I don't quite understand why it's so fast, but anyway... Unfortunately, the page still extends beyond 800x600. EDIT - And nope, it's not just this page because I posted a large image. It's the same on the main forum page etc.

MarkB
Your screen resolution is 1152x864, so you won't have the problem. If you set it to 800x600, you should see what I mean.

RonBurgundy
I am having this same problem, MarkB Maybe that's because there's an 1152 X 864 image on this thread? Try going to another thread without images in it, or the MVPMods home page...

MarkB
It must be the addition of the pushpin map to the links at the top, because when I have no new messages it extends the limit, but when I have 1 new message, it doesn't. "You have no new messages" "You have 1 new message" 2 spaces of a difference and that must be pushing it over the limit.
Kriegz
Yeah that may be it, some of the things up there we could probualy get rid of because the link is right above it on the MVPMods bar
