AnthonyBurke
Is it possible to obtain the older version of MVPedit anywhere? I don't know how to add a new player with a photo and or update stats in the newer version of MVPedit.
AnthonyBurke
o.k. since my post is still at the top, i am not trying to bump or it or anything, I figure, I might as well ask another question while I am at it.Q If I wanted to do a fresh install of MVP 05' where do I go from there to get the best full update? Meaning: install what Total Conversion and what roster pack to be most up to date?
Jim825
Attached, you'll find the 2005 version of MVPEdit. I'll let someone else answer your question about the latest roster. I play mainly with the classic teams.MVPedit2005_04.rar
angryrat
I believe you first have to install the MVP 2008 mod to get geared up for 2010 rosters. From there, you can download any roster you wish. I believe most of the rosters were made to be used with the 08 mod.
redeck
ditto what angry rat said, for up to date rosters i use an mvp08 with updated rosters by Highheat, and grab cyberfaces by Homer also, all these modders are great. Dennis James has done some stuff also that makes mvp08 more up to date as far as stadium adds and such. have fun, I do. these are places to start, but what ive done is just crawl through the downloads section. if your looking to get all 2010 on the MVP then check out as much "recent" submissions as you can. stuff listed first. emath2432
Crawl is a great was to describe it. Take your time, and look at everything. It is amazing how much stuff you can find in there that you never knew existed. I have gone through the downloads section 4 or 5 different times and found something new that I wanted/could use each time.

Jim825
Awesome help... thanks guys! Now I just need to be reminded... Where do I put the new .mbe I made? is it in EASports/MVPBaseball 2005/Data ? The .mbe file is ONLY used by MVPEdit. MVP2005 doesn't know what a .mbe file is and if you put it in any of the MVP folders, it will not be used. What you need to do is open the .mbe file with MVPEdit and then export the .dat files to your EA Sports \ MVP Baseball 2005 \ data \ database folder.
