Mehhhh
I'm new to the game, and I'm having a problem where I go to create a player, enter a first name and the last name automatically changes to the same name, it's the same thing if I enter a last name i.e. the first name automatically changes to the same name I just entered. It is happening in both create a player and my player. Can anyone help me?
dennisjames71
Hey there, Yes I had the exact same problem. What I did was go to the MLBmods.com site and download tywiggins' MLB2K10 Roster Editor. It's a 14-day trial and it will clear up your issue. What you do is simply load your Career file that you saved and find your created player. From there you can change practically anything about your player, including the name issue. You can improve your player's stats/ability scores too. After that, just save your changes and you are in business. Here's the link for the home page: http://www.mlbmods.com/ You'll see it on the front and on the right-hand side. Don't worry, you only need to "buy" it if you plan to use it past 14 days. Otherwise just click "Trial" when you run the program. Hope this helps. Mehhhh
Thanks for the response. While that does work, I as hoping for a permanent solution as opposed to a "band-aid" one. It seems to me that this is a pretty big bug,
Mehhhh
I've done a little testing and found that the error started after I updated the rosters with the latest from misopogon.
