dennisjames71
Hey Guys, I am trying to simply change 1 or 2 of the walk-up music songs for TC 1927. I’ve edited my songs down to 6 second selections and have converted them to ASF. I understand how to get them into the game with the “Walk-Up Music Changer” program; but I only want to replace 2 of the “Pop” selections with my new ones and keep the rest. What I did was save all 10 “Pop” ditties to my hard drive; but is there any way to preview/listen to these selections so that I do not replace the wrong ones? Sorry, I’ve hunted for this in the forums and couldn’t find this specific question. Thanks for any help guys.
emath2432
Only thing I can think of is to use the one program used to change the music in your menus. I know you can use it to convert the asf to mp3 (or maybe it was Wave), and then listen to it that way.
Jim825
You want the Sound Exchange utility to convert your .ASF files to .WAV format so you can listen to them. I've attached a .RAR file that contains the utility and a ReadMe file. Essentially, you will extract the sx.exe file to the folder that contains your .ASF files. To convert a single file from .ASF to .WAV format: sx -wave <filename>.asf -.wav To convert all files from .ASF to .WAV format: sx -wave *.asf -.wav Note that after you run sx.exe, you will have both a .ASF file and a .WAV file (i.e. it won't destroy your original .ASF file).SX_utility.rar
dennisjames71
Jim, you're awesome...I couldn't remember the name of that program for the life of me. I apologize that I'm brain-dead today for some reason. Hey, maybe I now qualify to be a GM for the Tampa Bay Rays organization. Thanks to you and emath for the help.
