AlecTrev
I customized my rosters with MVPedit, put them in the game, edited the pitchers and some players a bit further in game. That's worked out pretty well for me, but the one thing that doesn't seem to be edit-able in game is the "batted ball frequency" stats. I've tried tywiggins importer/exporter and I can get the stuff to export, but when I try to load it into MVPedit, I can't get around the runtime errors. I've searched the forums several times over the few weeks I've been missing with this, but I've not been able to find a working solution, and it seems like I'm not the first. So is there any OTHER way to edit those stats than exporting and using MVPEdit? Using a practically brand new computer for this purpose btw, with updated .NET and everything. AlecTrev
I have been using MVPedit. Is the only solution to start completely from scratch? I have put a lot of work into this roster save (in game roster save, not in there as the defaults or anything) and I'd hated to lose it. Tywiggins' dat importer/exporter seemed promising, but I get runtime errors any time I try to use it.
SESbb30
import your database into mvp edit and edit away so you dont start fom scratch.
AlecTrev
When I import the database into MVPedit, it imports my "default" rosters for the game, rather than my roster saves. If I booted the game right up, it gives me the default rosters (2010 rosters I downloaded from here). However, I made a bunch of trades and such in game. If I want to see my changed rosters in game, I have to go to rosters-->load rosters to use them. MVPedit doesn't grab those, as they are saved in my documents as .sav files. Searching the forum showed that the workaround for this was to use Tywiggins dat importer/exporter to turn your save into .dat files, then load those into MVPedit. However, that gives me runtime errors, which further searching suggests are a common problem.
