Base Stealing Adjustments

hi all. new here. i am just wondering what sliders i can use to limit the amount my team trys to steal bases. it is hard enough for me to hit as it is and it seems like my team is trying to steal bases all the time and running into easy outs just when i get a guy on and am trying to get something going. i noticed an option for CPU steal rate but not for user. any help? thanks

Sounds like you're using auto-running. You may need to edit your stealing tendency/aggressiveness for your team's players. I would leave the cpu teams alone. Maybe set up a test season by editing a roster set and taking it into a new franchise/season to see if any effect.

thanks for help. i figured out what was happening. one of the direction buttons i was using to bat with was mapped to base stealing also so i remapped it.

without opening a new thread hope someone will see this. i have what seems like a bug where when a guy is on first and i hit a fly ball (even if it drops for a hit) , the guy on first will just stand there and not run. i just had a chance to tie a game with 2 outs in the bottom of the ninth and i hit one off the wall and guy on first just stood there and so they just threw him out at second and ruined the game for me.

Check what your user baserunning aggression is on. Might be too low. Or you may just need to learn how to send them.
