Jcuzzo22
All the managers faces correspond with the models.big. This just makes absolutely no sense. As soon as I replace the roster with the default 2k10formvplus roster it runs fine. From what I've seen, it has to be something other than a cyberface issue. Can you think of roster issues I might have overlooked?
Jcuzzo22
Possibly portrait issues?
redeck
I would still say its a Cyberface issue. I had a situation once, where the roster i was working on crashed everytime i fired it up. I couldnt find the problem hunted for 3 days. Jim kept telling me its a cyberface dave you just got to find it. I was so angry I walked away from the whole thing for 2 days. when i came back, i went through all teh cyberfaces again, and sure enough, there it was, 2 actually. I had gone through the whole thing 3 times, and it wasnt untill the 4th time i went through them that i found it. when you are in MVPedit, looking in teh players "appearance" window, if the player has a face number not 901-915, and there is no picture that pops up in the box next to it. that is your culprit. If your using Grmprs rosters, there are other issues when playing minor league games that will crash the game. is that what you are playing? Jcuzzo22
Am I playin minor league games or using grmps roster? I'm playin MLB games and using the 2k10forMVProster plus. Dude I went through them twice already. But I'll do it again. I feel ya man when you said you were ready to walk away. Never been so angry before lol. So much time waisted. So what I'm guessing is I accidentally set a face # higher than 915. Thanks for all the help!

redeck
Im not sure, but i think you can set a face higher than 915, but you need to have a face in teh models.big named the same number. Time wasted is what modding is all about lol. a couple times i screwed up saves or other mistakes, washing away weeks worth of work. I can only write it up to experience. gaining it that is. and then redoing my lost work only helps in the learning process. I still want to see you figure this out though bud. In MVPedit, under options, is your MVPedit looking in the correct directory for your mod? your mods Data folder. if its not looking where your mods data is, its not looking at the correct models.big file. your more likely to find LOTS of missing faces if its not, however, what if its looking in teh wrong place, and showing you faces when it shouldnt? Homer
you can't set a generic face higher than 915. it will absolutely crash your game. the generic faces higher than 915 are only used by the computer generated players.
