redeck
EDIT: well in a fit of cleaning up i deleted the pictures that made my story for the first two games i described here, I wont make this mistake again, and for anyone who would like to see the full effect of what i am doing with this, the third game is under way about page 2-3 Ive been playing a dynasty with our MLB/Negro Leagues 1927 merged mod, and thought id let folks see whats going on. I started as playing the National League Central Detroit Stars, but use TyWiggins Team Changer to switch teams all the time and play other games as well. after about a dozen games the standing sit like this

redeck
A quick look at the HomerRun leaders shows some surprising names Notably, no Ruth, who is at this time hitting a pedestrian .256 and 2 homers. But the beast Oscar Charleston is near the top of the list, although for all his clout, his team struggles in the standings.
redeck
And a peek at the Strikeout Leaders would show us this It seems that the Negro League pitchers are faring rather well, as Atlantic Cities Rats Henderson tops the league, with Detroits own Huck Rile just behind. Bullet Joe Rogan and Bill Foster will surely be in the race all season as well.
redeck
Todays game featured The Detroit Stars against the Atlantic City Bacharach Giants. On the mound for the Stars was Righty, Harold Morris. And Throwing for the Bee's, Lefty, Red Grier. it was a smooth game with few hits and no scoring until the 6th Inning. Maceo Breedlove got ahold of a Morris hanging forkball and crushed it into the leftfield stands.
redeck
by the 8th inning, Breedlove had anouther Solo shot, but the Stars had played enough small ball to keep the score even.
redeck
Alejandro Oms made a game saving catch here in the 9th, and Jud Wilson did his best with a 2out double in this atbat in the bottom of the 9th, but Detroit couldnt get him across, the game went into extra innings. redeck
in the 10th inning the Bee's played enough small ball of thier own to push a run across the board on a yep, Maceo Breedlove RBI single. That run would stand up and Atlantic City grabbed one from Detroit. Final Score: maybe the Bacharach Giants wont be in last place all year after all............... dennisjames71
Bro, Sweet idea and this might make me start a dynasty with this awesome mod. Good luck with your Detroit Stars and thank you again to Dylan who made Dynasty/Season play possible with his schedule. I'm glad you're getting the chance to play the mod Dave. :clapping:

redeck
Well I had time to play another game today so i decided to move to another part of the league. Game 2 of our Double header today features teh Boston RedSox against teh Homestead Grays. and here is our starting Lineups
redeck
Harriss for Boston and Britt for Homestead, both hard luck hurlers thus far this season, as Boston has had a very hard start to the 27 season, but the Grays are playing .500 ball. Boston started out the game scoring a run in the first inning when the leadoff hitter got on base by an error, and was driven around with a double by Todt. Bos 1 Hom 0 but in the bottom of the 2nd inning, Rap Dixon Homers off of Harriss to tie it up 1-

redeck
By the bottom of the 4th inning it was still 1-1 until this jelly Gardner smash travelled to the centerfield wall for a triple Gardner would trot home on a Jap Washington Single for a Grays lead 2-
redeck
The very next batter was who would yeah ignite the fireworks at Griffith Stadium. Grays 4 Sox
redeck
The next hitter would be Rap Dixon again, and again, Rap would Homer. Homestead 5-1 bottom of the 4th. Finally the Boston Manager would take Harriss out of the game in favor of Wingfield. a 6th inning Red Sox rally was cooled off by this play, the runner on first was hung up between 1st and 2nd on a shallow fly that would drop for a hit, he was then forced at second when he couldnt beat the toss in. redeck
some more picks of the game In the top of the 7th Boston would gather 3 singles for an RBI by Tobin score 5-2. But in the bottom of the 7th inning, the Grays would would give Martin Dihigio an Rbi and a 6-2 lead.
redeck
And thats how the game would end Chippy Britt goes the distance for the Grays and gets his first win of the season He gives up 10 hits, on 9 IP and stuck out only 2. He induced ground balls all day long, and the Homestead defense was there at every turn. Let me know if anyone wants to see more of this Dynasty, and if there is a team youd like me to feature in a game.

emath2432
So if i delete the photos i put up at photo bucket, they are deleted here too? guess it doesnt matter if there is no interest in the dynasty The pictures you put here are just linking to where they are at photobucket. All the photos are stored on the photobucket servers, and just shown here... If you delete them from photobucket, they no longer exist, so they will no longer be shown here. Hope that made sense. redeck
With the American Giants struggling and the Yankees playing just above .500 ball thus far in the early season, this matchup could be key to the directions of both clubs this year. Both teams are going with low end rotation starters today, but that shouldnt keep either squad from trying their best to take a win home tonight. They both need one. The Chicago nine are starting a middle of the field Righty who features a daring curve and a sneaky fastball. Powell is said to be a very confident Pitcher, and he will need some confidence to face Murderers Row tonight. The Bronx Bombers are going with their 3rd man in the rotation Ruether, a lefty who knows his stuff.
