RonBurgundy
WTF? Jeter had a .272 AVERAGE?! EA must've based the stats COMPLETELY on the first month of last year's season...at least he got the gold Glove. Pavano got the Cy Young though, Woo-Hoo. RonBurgundy
Strikeouts are still not fixed in the game. Not enough of them. Randy only got 195, what da hell is that? Less Ks than IP for Randy Johnson, hell no...
RonBurgundy
Well, the Sim Engine is still fucked up... Look at the RunsScored for the Yankees... As a matter of fact, what da hell are the Yankees doing in 2nd there?
Goldensuitcase
David Wright: .297 / 34 HR / 96 RBI / 104 R / 14 SB Kaz Matsui: .292 / 26 HR / 67 RBI / 119 R / 17 SB Zambrano: 19 W / 2.83 ERA / .249 AVG / 145 SO I can live with those numbers . If Zambrano gets those numbers, there's no way the Mets will not win the East.
RonBurgundy
I can't believe how low EA made the Yankees hitting attributes, not a single Yankee with more than 32 home-runs. WTF was EA thinking. God, they always **** something up...
olyrunner
One thing that confuses me about the screenshots is that they seem to be posted chronologically as he simmed through a dynasty season. However, the first screenshots posted about Spring Training didn't come until after his first season. I suppose it could be that he just didn't take any preliminary Spring Training shots before his first season. Or it could be that there really isn't a Spring Training before the first season (as advertised) which would be disappointing. I'll try not to read too much into it. I also see that they've kept players retiring for "personal reasons". D'oooooh - I always get burned by this!
RonBurgundy
What confuses me is why they made the Yankees a AA team hitting-wise...

RonBurgundy
we got modders for that Nah, I'll just edit all the Yankees and give them the right Attributes....EA is taking this "Go Sox" thing too far with ******* up the Yankees attributes... Better yet, I'll give A-Rod and Sheff 100 Contact and Power and make them Babe Ruth/Mark McGwire/Barry Bonds/Ty Cobb/Tedd Williams/Lou Gehrig/Rogers Hornsby/Rickey Henderson to stick it in EA's faces. YankeexDev
I am so sick of this red sox crap. They freaking won one world series in 86 years!
Goldensuitcase
Honestly, in a year where steroids is now out of the game, it's not hard to believe that even the Yankees will not have a 32 homerun hitter. And maybe your team was injured or some were traded. You just can't assume that everything was perfect. I mean Pavano won the CY Young. That's about as believable as Randy Johnson being worth $16 million in two years :)

Goldensuitcase
I am so sick of this red sox crap. They freaking won one world series in 86 years! Are you saying they should not be #1? With a rotation of Schilling, Clement, Arroyo, Wakefield and Wells with a recovering Miller (best signing of the offseason in my opinion) and one of the most dominant offenses in the game, why should they not be getting this praise after besting your Yankees and winning the world series? I think it's time to get off that pedestal and realize how short you guys can be :)

I included the injury and trade statement for players like him. And no, I do not think he is on roids. I think he is an amazing player that amde the wrong career decision of going to the Yankees. Kccitystar
Oh my god could this crap stop? Be happy that the damn game comes out in less than 12 hours. Always have to find something to gripe about, eh? Next thing you know you'll be complaining about Jeter's cup being the wrong size...jeez.
YankeexDev
IMO, I think Johnson, Mussina, Pavano,Wright and Brown are the most dominating rotation in the game today
Kccitystar
IMO, I think Johnson, Mussina, Pavano,Wright and Brown are the most dominating rotation in the game today Wright is a nobody. I don't understand the logical reason as to why we signed him. He was only nice this season because he was pitching under one of the most knowledgeable pitching gurus around on the Braves staff. Brown is questionable but mediocre at best when healthy. Moose is just...Moose. Pavano is ok, but he won't really be dominant like he was last season, so I'm guessing his ERA will jump to about a respectable 4.02 or something. Randy is just....Randy. Why are we even discussing this any further? Back to our regularly scheduled programming.
Gamingboy
Manny got MVP for American League... I can believe that (although we all know "Cover athletes" are ALWAYS overpowered). Barry Bonds (Jon Dowd) got MVP for NL, I can believe that too. (Anyone noticed that Dowd is now 41?). Pavano got CY Young in AL..... uhhh, not sure sure about that one. Burnett gets CY in NL..... not sure about that one either. Rookies of the Years are fake, as we all know, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Twins had the ROY this year, they have a strong farm system. Foulke is Relief man of the year... ehh.... Florida's Riedling won relief man of the year for NL... wait a second... That guy has had 3 saves in his whole career! Must have been Cincy's set-up guy... Lew Ford got DH Silver Slugger of the year! WAY TO GO LEW! (I doubt it though...) Jeter won a gold glove... Randy Johnson won All-Star game MVP... wonder who else was elected to the All Star Game... Tigers won AL Central...... sure..... uh huh... (well, least the Royals are last, that's realistic!) WOW! Braves last in the NL East, behind even the Nats! I doubt that... Bonds (dowd) was second in Walks, behind Frank Thomas.... Somebody's gotta mod that... Brad Radke leads the league in K's? Uhhh... no. Athletics win the WS? Possible, I guess.... But sweeping the Red Sox? Roger Clemens will retire after this season, according to the game, so will David Wells, Rafael Palmeiro, and alot of other guys. Goldensuitcase
IMO, I think Johnson, Mussina, Pavano,Wright and Brown are the most dominating rotation in the game today Most dominating? A 42 year old followed by an aging pitcher who had a 4.52 ERA last year. Another old guy who gets hurt every year and two new faces who have one good year behind them but are being paid as if they are superstars. I have a bet for you. Benson and Zambrano will have a better year combined than Wright and Pavano. Maybe not in wins because the Mets are no Yankees but as far as ERA, SO's and all other periphials go, you will see just how much you overpaid. And honestly, you think the Yankees rotation is better than Chicago? Ok, dont answer as this is off topic. Sorry. I know you think they are better and you are entitled to that opinion, right? No matter how wrong you are, but I still propose my bet.
