w_clark22
Hello, New to the boards here...looks like there is a plethora of madding talent here. I'm new to the 2K series and have not quite got my bearings on all the modding tools that there are yet...but I am getting there. Anyways....I was wondering if someone would be willing to take a shot at making a cyber face for my all time fave player, Will Clark? I have linked a pretty decent photo of the dude. http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s171/Fredcharles1985/Sport%20Cards/WillClarkGaints.jpg OR, maybe one of you would be so kind as to point me in the right direction as far as making one myself...which I would honestly prefer as I am an Add-on artist for a few other games. I have searched the web but all the stuff I have found was confusing and lacking in clarity of direction. If I learn this method, I plan on creating a step by step tutorial for all those who wish to take a crack at making cybers. Anyways, any help is greatly appreciated and I hope to one day be a solid contributor to the modding community here. Thanks, The Neusch.
Zee
I would love a cyber face of Neil Walker, if you find someone do it for you or find out how to do it. Good luck on figuring it out. Happy Modding!!!! Zee
Micropterus58
w_clark22, I don't make cyberfaces myself for MLB 2K but I have made them in the past for NBA Live. Below is a tutorial for MVP Baseball. The basics are the same for most any game regarding cyberfaces. The tools you use to get the graphics into the game change but the use of Photoshop or another graphic program is the same. Other games such as NBA 2K, FIFA, Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) or Winning Eleven and Electronic Arts NHL series also use cyberfaces and I've seen tutorials for making CFs. Check out YouTube, search for cyberface. Google "cyberface tutorial". http://www.mvpmods.com/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=2005 http://www.nba-live.com/ http://forums.nba-live.com/viewtopic.php?f=114&t=26856 http://forums.nba-live.com/viewtopic.php?f=112&t=49428 http://www.thebreakaway.net/ http://www.pes-patch.com/ http://pes2008editing.blogspot.com/

I am a cyberface creator at thebreakaway.net so I am fairy familiar with the process, but this game is all new to me. I will see what I can come up with. Once again...thanks. pena1
The mod tools we have now only include plugins for blender. So if you want to edit 3d models, that is what we have to work with. It is pretty straight forward and there is a video over at modding way with basic instructions. If you are only interested in updating the textures, all you need is a dds plugin for photoshop/gimp
