Being a music lover and an avid MVP player since the 2003 version, one of the things I enjoy the most when it comes to updating MVP Baseball 2005 every year is selecting and then importing new menu music. I'm sharing my playlist of menu music for 2011, and I'm curious if anyone else is into this and I would love to know your own playlists. I follow two rules for selecting menu music: songs published in the year of the season and...obviously, songs that I love even when they may not be very popular. Since it's still early in the year I'm selecting songs from 2010 and 2011. This is my playlist for 2011: 1."Undercover Of Darkness" by The Strokes from the album "Angles" (2011) 2."Taken By A Stranger" by Lena from the album "Good News" (2011) 3."City With No Children" by Arcade Fire from the album "The Suburbs" (2010) 4."Run" by Vampire Weekend from the album "Contra" (2010) 5."Rolling In The Deep" by Adele from the album "21" (2011) 6."Memory Boy" by Deerhunter from the album "Halcyon Digest" (2010) 7."Make Some Noise" by Beastie Boys from the forthcoming album "Hot Sauce Committee Part Two" (2011) 8."Shakin' All Over" by Wanda Jackson from the album "The Party Ain't Over" (2011) 9."Lights" by Interpol from the album "Interpol" (2010) Ok that's all for now, let me know what you think, bye! The child will need severe needs counselling in the future. Hey Dylan, I have to say that was a clever video when I first saw it about a year ago. Yes, this song is extremely catchy and they were playing it a lot on streaming radio last Spring when I first joined this site and learned to mod...so I associate it with cool and fun things. benglez Posted April 29, 2011 Author Share Posted April 29, 2011 Thanks guys for sharing your playlists, I've been checking some of your choices, specially songs from artists that I was not very aware of, and I really like what I'm hearing, specially the Chevelle song and the Breaking Benjamin song. Of course MGMT's "Kids" it's already a classic from this century and it's a great choice for Menu Music...And what can I say about the "Mellon Collie & The Infinite Sadness" album..that was one of the albums that kept me going through college... :db: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
