dennisjames71
who said im blaming people, and where are the easy instructions everybody is talking about. It clearly says in his post to copy the 2 big files into the stadium folder and thats what i did and when i play the game i dont see the stadiums anywhere Bluejays, You are going to have to provide more details and/or screenshots to show us what “you’re not seeing” when it comes to the stadiums. In order to get at the root of any problem…it becomes a matter of troubleshooting. All of these stadium files (either the ones I’ve done or ones from 2005) are all installed in the same manner [copy & paste]. My instructions are at the bottom of page1 of this thread for installing the CAS stadiums and the standard ones. First of all, you’ll need to write specifically WHERE you are installing these stadium files: they go in your main game directory/data/stadiums. You’ll see a bunch of other stadium.BIG files in there. When you copy mine, say the Citi Field <sheaday & sheanite>, the computer should let you know that those 2 files already exist and you should say YES to replace the old files. Do not rename these files at all either. You start the game and it should be the Citi Field I posted here last month. You are going to have to post a screenshots of this stadium here if you still do not “see” this updated stadium. I always post screenshots of the stadium and you can compare that as well to what you are seeing. There are no other tips & tricks to installing stadiums and I have never seen anyone have problems with getting these to work. If these basic methods do not work…I would suggest a complete re-install of the game and start again; documenting <writing down> the steps you are taking. Beyond these instructions; I cannot offer any more assistance.
Yankee4Life
Well Dennis, if I may inject here, I have a way to make sure that every mod of your works every time. Guaranteed. Say for example I download your 2011 version of PNC Park in Pittsburgh. This is the ritual that I do before I install it: 1. Pray to the Mod God (see photo) to watch over my newly downloaded mod. 2. Have crazy 1970's style music playing in the background while I am starting up the game. Again, in reference to the Mod God. 3. Once I am in the game and I see that the mod works, I put the game on pause and then go to my desktop to thank the Mod God one more time before I continue with the game. By following these three simple steps I have not once had a problem with your mods. Thank you Oscar!

And by the way, here is one of my favorite 70's tunes for your background music. Ernie Isley's guitar and Wah-Wah Pedal rules!

Click "Load Owner". Select the file called "TWINS". It should now say "Target Field" above the Create A Ballpark section. Click "Advance" and the game should start in the new Stadium as I have it laid out.Twins_GM Career Mode.zip
redeck
a note on CAS stadiums bluejay, you can only use one of them at a time, meaning if you load the twins stadium, you wont be able to use the yankees later, until you shut down your game and install teh yankee cas. so say your playing a blue jay dynasty and your up against the Twins in Minn. you load up your Twins CAS mod and play your series. when you travel to NY to play the yankees, you will need to shut down the game, load up the Yankee CAS mod, and play through. People correct me if Im wrong...... Its really the only way NEW stadiums can be made at this time as no one here currently understands the modding tools to create actual new stadiums. but its better than nothing. Thanks Dennis, I remember when you burst on the Mod scene with those CAS Your funky music is cool, put it is drowning out the Tiger game, time to turn it off bro. I will turn it back on when i go to install this suppy duppy Comerica park update.

I loaded owners mode to look for twins file and nothing appeared. I created a new owner and selected create ballpark, in the stadium select screen hoping the new twins stadium would appear and it crashed again. Every mod that i've done including you're other stadiums have worked its only the twins stadium that hasn't

dennisjames71
Ok bluejays…I should be going off on my lunch break and I happened to bring my laptop to work today. I have a plain/clean install of MVP 2005 on this thing. I just downloaded my CAS Target Field files (venuday & venunite) and copied them to /data/stadiums. Next I used that ZIP file I posted for you with my TWINS career file. You take the FILE (not the entire ZIP file) inside the ZIP and put it in My Documents\MVP Baseball 2005. Start an exhibition game. Go to CREATE BALLPARK when you select the stadium. Load Owner. Select TWINS. It now says “Target Field”. Click Advance. It works, right here, right now. If it’s not working correctly…I do not know what to tell you. Ako tapos na (I am done). LUNCHTIME!!
redeck
well im missing something i know that but i would like to know what im missing since im doing everything thats told. What am i missing since its painfully obvious? I love the "Im doing everything im told" part. Thats the best. If your doing everything that your told, the mod would work. Not saying your not trying to do everything your told, saying you missing something. probably something simple, happens all the time. But your not doing everything your told, or it would work, and you would be off playing the game and not even telling anyone what it was that you missed. Follow Dennis instructions again, very very carefully, and it will work. trust me on that. Ive learned to Make total classic mods, not just install them, by following the tips and instructions guys like Dennis and Jim and others provide. these things work, and when they dont, its usually something simple that was missed. Be meticulous. and if that doesnt work, be painstakingly meticulous. and if that doesnt work, go to bed, wake up and play the vanilla version. good luck, i do hope you get it working. bluejays50
Maybe that's it. Where did you get the game from? Downloaded from the net? i got it from ebay. It looks real came with the box and jewel case 2 cd's license key. Im trying to create a new profile for owner mode and it says its saved but then when i look it up to load it after restarting the game. The game says there isn't a file on the harddrive and it crash's if i try to save it from the menu in owner mode i would need to save it from the name button link at the bottom below the menu to actually save it but it doesnt matter because when i restart the game the saved file isnt there anymore it says there isnt a mvp file on the hard disk
