What's the first thing your gonna do when you get MVP 2005?

For me, I'm gonna first go through the Rosters and just make some of the more "essential" changes (like Jon Dowd becomes Barry).

THEN I'm gonna jump into a exhibition game, just to get my orientation back (haven't played MVP since last September, and I STILL haven't gotten a controller).

The very first thing I'm going to do is turn off the annoying menu music they'll have playing, and then I'll edit Jon Dowd to Barry Bonds.

After that I'll probably play a quick D-Backs game. :D

Just an observation but perhaps a possible explanation is you generally start 5, 6 threads if not more.. (i noticed this but I haven't said anything), this person doesn't start that many, perhaps it's one of the reasons you're getting flamed as some ppl are sensitive to this.

To get back on topic..:

Just like Kraw, very first thing I'll do is examine the file structures to see if anything changed. Check for the good old datafile as well.

Then fire up an exhib, and check out the batting/pitching/ball physics, see if it's the same, improved or worse than last yr.

my next step will be to check rosters & portraits. Then I'll move on to the new features. I'll be keeping a special eye out to see if stats can be exported or saved, let's hope so.
