Controller Delay Using Mvp 08

Finally got 08 to work successfully, and my first run-throughs last night went seamlessly. However, this morning I'm back on and I'm having controller issues. I can't seem to pitch correctly; most of the time the buttons are delayed and I can't pick the accuracy of the pitch (i.e., I can start the pitch, but I can't finish it; the meter swings all the way to the end no matter how many times I push the button). I suspect it might have something to do with adding the bigger pitch meter from MLBMods, because I played a game before installing it and had no issues -- just couldn't hit the target because it was so small.

I'm using a Logitech Dual Action (albeit a newer version) on Windows 7 x64. Tried recalibrating it using the Logitech Profiler and Control Panel, no dice. I also just set the compatibility to Windows XP SP2 this morning because it had some hanging issues when going through the loading screen. Now it loads perfectly every time, but I'm having these controller issues now.

All I have is the second official patch and the 08 mod installed on it. Any ideas?

*EDIT* Tried removing the compatibility settings and also tested it using Windows 98/Me just to try it. Still having the same problem; compatibility settings aren't the culprit.

Also, I tested the controller with other games (GTA: SA, Lego Star Wars, Dolphin emulator) and there's no lag. I've also noticed that the outfield grass looks really weird -- almost like glass -- in the Metrodome whenever I've tested the game. I was monking with RadeonPro last night to try and up the AA and AF settings, but after it started having the hanging problems, I deleted the profile. Does that mean there's an issue with the datafile, or did RadeonPro screw it up -- meaning I should just reinstall it?

When you install the 08 total mod, you don't need to patch anything. I'm not sure, but installing patch 2 may have buggered something. Only one way to know..... unless you have another controller.

It's the weirdest thing, I made a new '08 copy (since I followed Y4L's guide on installing multiple copies), and while the new copy was being temperamental and wouldn't start properly, the old, as-of-then erroneous copy was suddenly fixed. I can't explain it at all, but I won't be one to complain about it. :good:

On a side note, then, what's the easiest way to alter the AA and other similar settings on MVP with an ATI card? I'm afraid to try that RadeonPro again, but the new CCC doesn't let you do individual profiles anymore for some stupid reason.
