Garcia threw 105 pitches, gave up 10 hits, 1 walk and struck out 8. The score was tied until the bottom of the 5th when Posada hit a solo homer. In the 6th Teixeira hit another HR, this time a 2-run blast: Granderson followed with a RBI single to make it 4-0. Greinke went 5.2 innings, gave up 4 hits, 3 runs, 1 walk and struck out 10. The Yanks scored first in the 4th inning with a RBI double. Sabathia had a shutout until the 7th inning when the Brewers got the lead thanks to back-to-back homers by Weeks and Fielder. Hart made it 3-1 with a RBI double. But the Yanks tied the game in the bottom of the 8th inning with a solo homer by Swisher and a RBI single by Martin. Cano walked-off with a RBI double in the bottom of the 9th. Fielder gives the Brewers the lead in the 7th Walk-off! Pettitte pitched well until the 7th: he gave up 4 runs in that inning. The Yanks got on the board in the first thanks to a 2-run HR by Mark Teixeira. The Brewers scored in the 4th with a RBI double by Hart, but the Yankees scored again in the 5th thanks to an error by Weeks. In the 7th, the Brewers came back: Weeks tied the game with a 2-run HR and then Gamel, Gomez and Braun hit 3 straight RBI single to make 6-3. The Brewers weren't done yet, as McGehee made it 7-3 with a single. The Yanks scored 3 runs thanks to a double by Granderson, but Axford tossed a scoreless 9th to close the game. Carrasco went just 4, gave up 5 hits, 3 runs and got the no-d. The Mets rallied in the 6th thanks to 3 straight RBI singles by Emaus, Reyes and Beltran. But the Mets wasted no time and tied the game in the 2nd with a solo shot by Ike Davis: they got the lead in the 4th thanks to a RBI double by Thole. A-Rod wasted no time as he launched his 25th HR of the season into the seats in the 1st. But the Indians wasted no time as well: Laporta tied the game in the bottom of the 1st with a 2-run blast. The Indians got the lead in the next inning with a RBI double by Asdrubal Cabrera. The Yanks managed to get the lead in the 3rd, as Swisher got hit with the bases loaded, forcing in the tying run and Posada followed with a 2 RBI double. But Laporta homered in the bottom of the 3rd to make it 5-4 and Asdrubal Cabrera tied it with a double. In the 5th Cano made it 6-5 with a sac fly, but in the 6th, the Indians tied the game thanks to an error by Jeter. Cano drove in the go-ahead run in the 7th with another sac fly. Logan, Robertson and Soriano tossed 3 shutout innings as the Yanks won 7-6. Gomez went 6.1 innings, gave up 5 hits, 1 run and got the no decision. In the bottom of the 7th, the Indians got the lead back: Hannahan hit a 2 RBI double, Cabrera hit into a double play, scoring a run and La Porta finished with a RBI single. The score was 5-1. Pettitte went 6, gave up 10 hits, 5 runs and got the loss. Swisher homered in the 9th to make it 5-2, but Perez came in and got the save.
