Sliding In Mvp 2005/2007

I love mvp in every way. even if i had to tune some of the difficulties to make it seem more realistic or edit players for 2011... However i have one problem i could never conquer. SLIDING. Especially home. At first they would just run over the base and normally get tagged. Then i found out a way to slide but it was only a hook slide which wouldnt work at some times and u could only hook slide to the left. so if the catcher was left you would slide into them.. not good either. So i am hoping for some kind person to tell me how to slide head first or hook slide right or left. PLEASE TELL ME IN KEYBOARD 2 i never use keyboard 1 batting with spacebar is much better than keys. I hope people still play as it is outdated even tho its better than 2k11

1. You can use a keyboard in this game but it is much easier and recommended to use a gamepad.

I have a gamepad i actually dont like it. And i dont quite understand ur second point. I did install it if thats wat you're asking. but no where in manual says how to slide headfirst. i mean there must be a a way even to decide which direction u hook slide

Here's the reason why you are not getting any help with your question. You downloaded this game from the internet. You told me that. You also told me that the reason why you downloaded MVP 05 is because they don't sell it in your country. I have no trouble believing that because this game isn't being sold any more in any country. You can only get this game if you buy it from a place like ebay or something like that. Sorry, but that's how it is. I'm not making this up or trying to give you a hard time here. I'll even show you the rule that is on this site which I am sure you never read.

Simply put, if you have an illegal copy of the game you won't get any help. And one little tip for you with that downloaded copy of the game you have. You won't be able to have Mvp 08 because it requires the disks or disk images. And there are some mods here that for some reason or another have problems with the warez version of the game.

Secondly, most things cannot be shipped to Australia as we have many rules that things cannot be purchased internationally and i doubt any aussie will be selling. Thirdly why take a risk buying a used copy that could be scratched or ruined as i doubt there are more than a dozen selling right now. I may aswell pirate it. Really. All i ask is to slide it isnt a trivial question something someone must know. So dont give me your attitude that i pirated the game. If you really want i will donate 120$ to EA just for you.

Obviously you must be dense or something. I never said one thing about helping EA or having money going to them. All I said was buying this game from places like ebay is the only way you will get this game because IT IS NOT BEING SOLD ANYMORE IN STORES IN ANY COUNTRY IN THE WORLD. This game has been discontinued. It's not being made anymore. Can you understand this?

It is your tough luck that this is the way it is. What the FU** do you want me to do about it? I am just here explaining to you that since you have a pirated version of this game you can't get any support in here for your "trivial question." I could honestly care less that you got a pirated version of this game. I don't care if every game you own is pirated. You are none of my business and you never will be.

And buying stuff off of ebay like used games or just about anything is the risk you take. That's how it is. Buy it from ebay or don't. Who cares! I take the same risk when I buy from ebay when I am buying a game or something else. It is the way it is.

As Y4L stated, it is against site rules to provide assistance for pirated versions. You may not like it, but those are the rules. This was mainly done because of the concerns that if it looked like we were promoting software piracy, we risked EA coming after the site owners.
