danc
Hey, I am presently downloading your updated conversion mods for 46,51,&56. I have ongoing seasons in all of these mods. Can I just update each mod using your update or do I have to start these seasons all over again if I want to update? Thanks. BTW, thanks for the hard work. I'm not positive, but I believe that you would need to start your seasons over, since the .sav file that is created for the season keeps track of the rosters and the models.big. I believe that stecropper is the expert on this, so you might want to send him a PM (and let me know what he tells you!).
stecropper
All the listed changes Jim made to his latest releases of 46, 51, & 56 will take effect without having to restart your Dynasties. Things that would require a restart of an ongoing Dynasty to take effect would be if any player audio/portrait assignments, cyberface assignments, ratings, etc were changed which I don't think any of those were changed in Jim's latest releases. Basically any changes that would occur to Rosters would require a restart for them to take effect. Just about anything changable within MVPEdit (Robert Glass') let's say. Even for those type changes (if you are aware of all of things having been changed) they can be changed/edited within the ongoing Dynasty via the MVPEditor program from Tywiggins. But there are some MVPEdit things that can't be changed with the MVPEditor (within an ongoing Dynasty) such as Coaches information, Team Tendencies, etc etc.. But most individual player related things can. But uniforms, stadiums, logos, and even stadium & team audios would not require a dynasty restart to take effect immediately. Hope this helps, Don
danc
Thanks ste........ That's what I was hoping for. Can I just use the install program for each mod and install over the existing mod or should I instal to a different location and just copy the modified files over? If the latter is true can you tell me which files to copy? I have some good ideas (models.big,etc.) but am not sure. Thanks again.

Most of the updates for these three TC mods are uniform updates, stadium updates, music for the 1951 mod and some audio fixes.
danc
Well, I installed over the existing mods and all seems well so far. It is interesting that there are some many different ingame.big and igonly.big files. Sometimes I have to replace them after updating and sometimes I don't. Those are kind of an individual thing. Thanks for the help. PS - I backed up the original game files in case there is a problem in the future.

I know that DennisJames did change the walkup music in TC1951 and he modified the walkup music attribute for all players, so with your existing dynasty, you may not hear the updated walkup music when your players come up to bat.
