Players Not in the Game (MLBPA)

This is my first post, and I searched around for this information, so I am hoping nobody asked yet, but does anybody have a list of the players that are not MLBPA members and, thus, not in the game. I know Bonds, Millar, Donnelly, but if somebody knows where a complete list is that would be great so I can get to creating them at the same time I adjust my rosters pre-dynasty. Thanks, looking forward to this one!

Yeah, that's my hope for this post in particular. That is to say, that it's damn near impossible to assemble a complete list, but if everybody knows one or two obscure players, then at least a good amount of progress can be made.

Ok, here is what I have been able to assemble so far:

- Barry Bonds (SFG), who will return as John Dowd in the game

- Kevin Millar (BOS), who will appear as Friese (or something like that)

- Brendan Donnelly (LAA)

- Corey Lidle (PHI)

- Kerry Ligtenberg (TOR)

- Frank Menechino (TOR)

- Damian Miller (MIL)

- Jason Kershner (BOS)

- Lou Merloni (LAA)

NOTE: the last two players are currently non-roster invitees, so it's up to you whether or not they are worthy or creation haha.

QUESTION: For those of us who are not hardcore modders, like myself, start posting some overall ratings for these players and maybe some of the pitches or characteristics they have. This will certainly aid in a more realistic creation process.

* Personally, I can say that for Brendan Donnelly, his pitches are: fastball (96 range), changeup, slider (high 80's), and splitter (mid 80's). His windup is viewable in a couple of pictures on sites like espn.com, etc. Those are also the best places to find the vital information like height, weight, handiness, etc.

Hope this kind of thing helps out. I know that it's what I am looking for for some of these guys I am not as familiar with. Good luck!

I was wondering if Tony Saunders (the pitcher) would be in the game. Because he played in the Majors in 97, 98 and 99. Then he retired because he was getting injured alot. Well, now he's trying to make a comeback, and the Orioles have signed him to a Minor league contract.

Wonder if he'll be in the game.

I doubt it....last year's "cutoff" was 2002. (With the exception of Jeff Zimmerman.)

Yeah I also doubt it strongly, because there's just no way to know the outcome of spring training. Nonetheless, he may be one of those invitees worth creating and sticking in your farm system, although that's much more fun to do with real prospects, given their age and potential.
