benny boy
I was wondering if I can use ea graphics editor to edit the faces of players? I tried to see if it would work by editing todd jones' face while in the ea graphics editor and saved the changes. When I tried to run the game and go to edit player, then todd jones, the game crashes.
benny boy
ok so i read more here on the site and found out not to edit the cyberfaces that are only a half of a face. so i picked one that was a full face and edited it, used fshEd to make sure the properties were correct but i left it at 256x512. when i load mvpedit and assign the edited face to a player it shows it in the preview box. i export the dat files to the database folder but when i run the game and go to the player the face is all jacked up and doesn't resemble a face? Homer
use nfshtool to unpack and repack the textures. you'll get nothing but problems with other programs.

Veesmack
Do you have MVPEdit? The "half faces" are '04 Style which you would have to set in your roster file. Even if the sizes are correct, you cannot put a full face on a half face and vice versa. To elaborate on what homer says. Drag and drop the .fsh file (with the face) onto nfshtool which creates a folder where face becomes a edit-able .bmp. Once you edit the face to your liking, copy nfshtool.exe to the folder. Drag the "index" onto nfshtool within the folder with the bmp and should recreate the file. I hope you understand this. It's not complicated but can be very intimidating if you are new to it. benny boy
ok so i went into ea graphics editor, found the .fsh file i wanted to edit. then saved it as a .fsh in a folder. then I tried to drag and drop the .fsh file onto nfshtool and it says that it has encountered an error and must close. then i did it from bigGui and exported the file and did the same thing with drag and drop and it worked! thanks guys i appreciate the help. i tested it by drawing a stache on a face and then assigning that face to a player with mvpedit and we r in business. i backed up my database files and models.big before this.
