If the same issue occurs, I suggest you try out the original Angels Stadium.

As stated earlier, original Angels stadium works. That was already the case with TOTAL MLB 1.02!

My theory was that the grass pattern at Angels stadium was messing it up, but I dunno what it could be. :|

Being that the original stadium works, your theory could hold up, yet how come it works on your PC with your set, and others have trouble?

Well, for me the only way that works is using UMACHINES UNIFORMS...I have KC's 1.03 for about 22 teams, still problems with about 4 teams within that, using UMACHINES for ANGELS Home and D'Backs, Cubs, Devil Rays.

KC's Devil Rays work fine....that's who I am using in my Owner Mode.

@ Halo's Angel Stadium? And obviously you were using the AWAY jerseys, which for some reason don't always cause a crash...

The only mods that I have installed are in fact:

My own uniform set

Trues' Wrigley Field

HaloFan's Anaheim Stadium (Day)

EA's Patch 3 roster update

The Manhattan Project, well what's completed

No new facepack updates or anything additional to the models.big file have been added.

So I guess this is a snag in the Manhattan Project line??

EDIT-I just want to back up KC by saying that, why do we question the value of KC's work, but not the value of HaloFan's work??? Isn't it possible that it isn't KC's fault, but HaloFan's?? I'm Out.

Value is clearly the wrong term. We are talking about a technicality here. Both mods are very "valuable" but there are compatability issues that need to be sorted out. We already know that it is ALSO something with Halo's mod since KC's works fine with the original stadium. But Halo's works with Umachines sets, no problem at all. So we are all trying to sort it out, no one is trying to critisize or antyhing like that. We all appreciate these mods, I have said it over and over, first to admit that I can get impatient yet always appreciative, ONLY they need to work, fully. So let's just see what we can come up with :roll:

no offense at all to kc here but this isn't a problem with halofans stadium. this problem with game crashes w/ the angels home uni has been discussed LONG before halofans day version even was released. search the support forum we have discussed it there weeks ago. and the game still crashes on me when using the standard home jersey (non of the other angels unis though) and i haven't even had time to install halo's stadium yet, or any of kc's newest updated unis, so the bug goes back to at least the last version. not laying out any blame at all, just stating the facts guys.

I took it upon myself to do a bit of research on this problem, here's what I did. Installed both HaloFan's Stadium and KC's 1.03, and here is how the testing progressed:

Trial 1: Cardinals @ Angels, played at Ameriquest in Arlington, with the Angels wearing all white, regular home uni's. Result - No problems at all.

Trial 2: Cardinals @ Angels, played at Dodger Stadium, with the Angels wearing white vests and red sleeves. Result - Again No Problems.

Trial 3: Cardinals @ Indians, played at HaloFan's stadium. Result - Crashed Game

So here's what I conclude. This is not a problem, for me at least with the Angels uniforms, but with HaloFan's mod.

And for the record, I have never had a problem with any of KC's mods. :D

Well, I would say to compress them....however, I just checked mine and there were 10 or so uncompressed and I'm not having any crashing problems. I haven't played the Angels, nor have I installed HaloFans mods.

I was getting crashes at the uniform selection screen when I had been installing Umachines mods that change the uniforms.big file...compressing that helped.

I've gone ahead and compressed everything in my models.big file...if nothing else, it saves a bit of disk space :)

Try these halo uniforms. They're from MVP 2004, so I'm not sure how they're gonna work.

Did a little bit of snooping around in the files of the original anahday.big and halofan's anahday.big. Couple of things here; there were many files not compressed in halofan's file as opposed to all of the files in the original being compressed. Don't know if that has anything to do with anything, but I'm gonna go try.

Update-Definitely didn't work...leading me to believe nothing is wrong with KC's uniforms on my machine.

I'm not having ANY problems. They work great with EVERY team in EVERY stadium, including every modded stadium for 2005.

Thanks to all of you for downloading my uniform update and being able to help participate in troubleshooting the Halo bug.

Honestly, I'm exhausted from doing these uniform updates. The manhattan project is still alive, somewhere.

I guess i'll chime in since I posted the question in the first place.

i have v 1.02 or whichever one was before 1.03. and when i play at HaloFans' Angel Stadium I can play on defense, but as soon as I come up to the plate I get the mvp2005.exe crash to dektop.

so, i installed umachines angel uniforms in the A and c slots of my model.big with Fuzzone's installer. Went to play in Halofans stadium and it worked fine.

So there is some compatibility problem with KC's Angel home unis and Halofans Stadium.

I just use a combination uniform set. Mostly KC's and then just swap in Umachines for the Angels and a few other add on uniforms. No big deal.

My question this time is, KJC, do you have a list of what you've added in 1.03? Cuz i'll just stick with my current set if there wasn't anything I'm interested in. Regardless, there's always a workaround the "Angel home Uniform" mystery. lol

04/27/05 - Included Capn's Font Update for 2005, as well as removing EA's stock majestic sleeve patch and adds custom majestic logos on all uniform sleeves. Also fixed many team uniforms and corrected manager's jackets.

At last, it is finally here. v1.03 of this update gives all 30 MLB teams a total makeover. In this update version 1.0 of the manager's jackets are included. I have re-done several teams and edited some more uniforms. I am aware that some jackets may have the design cut off somewhere along the front, but that can be fixed in 1.01 of the manager's jacket update.

To me, it sounds like there are just too many things going on texture-wise for people's video cards to process. I had some problems with the larger stadium files slowing down gameplay in certain stadiums (the modded Anahiem, Oriole park and especially Arlington). The stadium file sizes were going from EA's 3-4MB to the modded .big files of 25MB. That's a huge change and when coupled with the larger texture sizes for the uniforms, so maybe that's what it is. I haven't tried your new uniform mod, but I really enjoyed your first one.

Well, Apr4488 just doesn't want to read this thread or I don't know what. Your childish I don't even care anymore comment, in which you AGAIN FALSELY blame the Halo Stadium, doesn't help anyone here that do want to figure out what theexactly the issue is. I never had a problem since the beginning, cause I did the same thing Agent did, using Umachines for the Angels, rest KC's, sorry but there is VIRTUALLY nod difference between this and KC's set. Having said all that, I am still trying to figure out what it might be. I guess the uncompressed files aren't the problem either, and it will take some more searching, currently I am comparing Umachines and KC's Angels home jersey, in terms of content.

Of course it did Kelvarr. We know that it works that way. We are trying to find a clear resolution to why there are issues, i.e. why KCC doesn't even have an issue with his set, combined with Halo's stadium! Why we can use Umachines with Halo's stadium, etc.

maybe it would help if everybody posted what video card they were using, how much RAM the video card has, and how much system RAM...maybe a clue lies in there?
