Her's what I am getting, the Uni's are fine, it's just the hat. I realize I pobably couldn't have taken this from any farther away...

There appears to be a white/grayish ring around the top as well. It looks if the whole mapping of the hat is "bumped-down" if you get what I mean

Don't know if this has been asked, but I am getting a very odd thing. When I play with the Yankees Spring training uni's, The hat is way off. I can just see the very top of the NY logo on the hat, as it seems to be split in half by the bill. Anyone else have this problem? I am using your latest KC, with latest update (posted yesterday) from kraw at eamods. If this hasn't been seen before I'll try and post a screenshot.

you're getting that b/c in v1.18, KC included the new hat model (256x256) instead of the regular 2x one (256x128). Just grab the hat bmp from one of the other Yankees jersey for now.

Good news is, this whole game is about to get a major revamp!

I will be updating Total MLB for Opening Week 2007 as version 1.185, however this version will not feature the Minor League unis nor will it feature the mapping updates discussed in another thread.

The newer version will include all road variations of alternate uniforms, all missing alternate uniforms, as well as updated gear for the 2007 season.

EDIT: Yeah...it's only on the Yankees ST uniforms. Man I suck.

Well, here is a quick fix:

Edit the FSH file with nfshtool which can be found here on this site, and open up "index.fsh" which is in the folder with the BMPs. The Yankee cap in question is "0013.BMP", so you scroll down until you find this line in "index.fsh"

save that index.fsh and double click on it to repack the file, import with EA Graphics Editor.

Ok, thanks for figuring that out guys. What exactly do I have to do to fix it? I know you said to grab the bmp, but not quite sure on how to do that. Also, on the uni select screen, I am gettign a lot of blank (just a black box) options. I don't think this happened untill i put in the new models.big, any help there?

To grab the bitmap just right click on the picture displayed here of the cap. Click on "save picture as". Make sure to change the file type in the window that opens to a .bmp file. Then save the picture.

The reason you are getting the blank screen has to do with your uniforms.big file not being matched up correctly to the models.big. Make sure to use a uniforms.big file that is appropriate to your models.big version.

Ok, I statred to notice the black rectangle when I dloaded your models.big with Kc's uni's. I though I did everything right that you had in the readme including the uniforms.big? Thanks for your help, I know I am probably just screwing up one little thing in the process.

Tucson Sidewinders and Salt Lake Bees done. All that's left for the PCL are the Tacoma Rainiers, New Orleans Zephyrs and Portland's road uniform.

Bully, I'd like to thank you for your source files. They have been a tremendous help. I've perfected the road scripts for Tucson and Salt Lake, if you want to see them at some point.

And KC, nevermind the e-mail I sent you. I was finally able to figure out an arching method.

I will soon, I promise. I need to step away from the computer for awhile first, though. I'm gonna play some God of War II or FFXII, then I'll come back and finish off the rest of the PCL. I'll post screens then.

KC, do you have anybody keeping tabs on when the teams wear the alternates? For instance, Colorado wore the purple at home, and Arizona wore the red on the road (Both in the same game, BTW).

I understand it's easy to fix, and I could probably just swap out the pants and be fine, but I was wondering if anybody knew for sure when the teams wore these things. I'd love to get rid of some alternates not used and replace them with ones they actually use.

I got that covered :)

So far I have everything where I want it to be right now, and I re-edited the pants as part of my 3D model update with more updates to the accessories such as black shinguards, not that dull grey color, black elbow pads and elbow guards, a bigger MLB logo that can be actually visible on the helmets and hats...and more.

I won't be using the new mapping proposed by TheBigO because if you can't get that certain effect you want to achieve perfectly, it's no use, and I'm jumping two revisions because this update will complete all the major league clubs, and I'll remove the installer because even if I make it as simple as I can someone is bound to have problems, so I'll just upload it barebones and leave the messing around up to you, the user.

I already have the red Diamondbacks uniforms as the road alternates, and those purple uniforms for the Rockies will stay as the road alternates because I already have the white CR sleeveless uniform as the home alternate, and then I have the Black colorado sleeveless uniform as the 2nd alternate. This is why I find Minor League unis to be better than the Major League uniforms, they tend to keep just a home and road set as opposed to like 20 friggin alternate uniforms.

Just as a point of reference the Dbacks will wear the white unis during the weekdays at home. The black tops at home on Saturday. The red tops on Sunday away or home unless another team is wearing red while on the road, they will then wear them on Saturday.

I agree with KC two or three but not 4 jersies dictated on the position of the moon.

Yeah I have the unis set up as follows

White Home

Road Grey

Black Home

Road Red

*sigh* I should have just stuck to sigs.

Well, I've decided to just release these unis for opening day with all the necessary corrections. This should hold me over until the all-star break, so don't expect anything new until then other than MiLB updates.

kc, i can't send you a screenshot of my uniform problem but if it was my game the reds road greys would appear white in this screenshot. how do i fix this?
