so do you actually get to see the sky and hear the announcers say things about it? are there delays? do players go into their dugouts? what happens? i wana know! lol :)

Well since i havent really had weather besides for just clear skys....but you can see the sky so you im sure would be able to tell if there were clouds.....but the announcer a little after the start of the game will say something kind of like a forecast. Not too sure about delays.

If the rain effects are completely centered only in Safeco rather than also taking place at Skydome and Minute Maid I will be somewhat disappointed, as I was under the impression that was a universal feature, but the Producer just liked Safeco's effect the most.

Here's hoping weather gets dealt with.

In the interview on the EA site it said 'some stadiums'.....imo all places that often have rain SHOULD have rain.

There are racing games (formula 1) where it starts getting overcast and begins to rain lightly. It can clear up again, but it can also stay or start raining harder.

Why can't they do that ? Would be an AWESOME feature if you use it with the rule where games that are stopped after the 5th aren't continued. (are they ?)

It really would be disappointing if only a couple stadiums are capable of rain effects. There are really only a handful of places that don't get rain on a regular basis (Arizona comes to mind) But coming from Illinois, they're out of their mind if they don't have rain (and often) in Chicago. The Cubs and Sox get about 3 or so games rained out every year and rain delays in several others. I've been too busy trying to update my rosters to play, but I really hope rain is more prevalent then it appears to be from reading these posts.
