Nuttycubfan
I liked mvp2004 but 3 things I wish are fixed on this version. Maybe some can answer for me. It may make me decide if I want 2005 or not: Are save games in the middle of a game allowed. I usually don't have time with the kids to complete a whole game. Are you allowed to play a season game with other teams. I didn't like only being allowed to play your dynasty team. Is the wind fixed on season games? Thanks guys! WindyCHC165
i dont know about the wind but someone said that the special parks have the different features. Like u.s cellular, and wrigley are windy. Coors field the balls actually travel farther i heard. Also miller park has some features depending on their roof. I dont know if that answers ur answer or not but it's the best i can give yah..

Thanks guys! those were all excellent suggestions that I wanted as well. Sadly it seems none of them are in this year. (no save-game, no switch teams, no wind, although random weather is there.) Read the impressions link (bottom) you might make up your mind easier that way. I"m still split as to should I rush to get this or continue with 04 for a while. Pierzynski and Juan Uribe and the ball seems to hang in the air and just barely float out of the park. It's just like the Cell since it's probably the next best hitter's park to Coors. Kamasutra
Actually Kam wind is in the game even in Dynasty Mode. that's another positive thing. Wish ppl would mention this more. I'll add it to the impressions list. If you see a wind gauge, i'd appreciate a screenie. (you can post it here)

The Cell is even more powerful than Coors. The White Sox had Thomas and Ordonez out for like 90% of the season and they still tied they Yankees for the league lead in home-runs by a team. The White Sox had Thomas and Ordonez out for like 90% of the season and they still tied they Yankees for the league lead in home-runs by a team. It was last year but we still have yet to see if it was a fluke or not. Coors has consistently been the best hitter's park in all of baseball. The Cell has recently become a great hitter's park because they moved the fences in and supposedly the renovations to the upper deck have caused a wind tunnel effect through the park. We'll see what happens this year. My guess is that it will overtake Coors as the top hitters' park. By the way, what other renovations are the Sox doing over at the Cell?
