thanks Kc. a question: is possible to use only your color list without install the "extra" jersey?

another question: can you try to delete this " orrible" dark stitching on the clear hats ( like red colors). it possible to correct the texture and have only the stiching with the same color of the hat?

Wonderful day to test a few things out...like the grass....

Shame the experiment failed. I hit a snag with the lighting. It looked real nice for day games. Night games are another story.

was just wondering about one uniform in particular...because it seems all the mods for the St. Louis Cardinals uniform include 2k12's default logo on the front of the uniform.

however the Cardinals for as long as forever have hand embroidered their logo on the uniform, including the name and the number. There is a separate guide they follow for the uniform instead of the main graphic. because they use a thicker embroider, they can't get the birds on the bat on the uniform exactly like it is on the graphic. and the name on the back of the uniform does not have a rectangle around indicating that the name is also a patch, no the names, numbers, and logos are hand embroidered. just thought i'd mention it, because i have experience with graphic design in the cardinals organization, and just something to think about i guess.

2k12 logo (more exact to the design)

Real logo (with different pattern)

heh, just ignore me, because it's never good enough for me. i kick myself too much for being a perfectionist.

another note, because i see how skilled you are at this, i've created a custom uniform and want to add it to a team, and i see you added 2 alternates to the DBacks, those original purple and teal things they used to wear.

and you added them in there as Alternate 1998 Home and Alternate 1998 Away, (or something along those lines...)

How would i go about adding an alternate uniform to the Cardinals list of uniforms?

Great St. Louis Cardinals Update but don't forget to add the World Series Patch for home and away jerseys.

I don't plan on going 100% full speed ahead working on uniforms for now since modding stadiums is taking up most of my time, as evidenced by the recent releases ;)

Might be a little vague but this is how it's possible:

Now that I'm 99% done with stadiums, here we go:

Working on a solid hat fix and universal changes here. Expect something at the end of the month in time for September callups ;)

I must ask the community one favor:

Can anyone help make a list of teams where the road jersey is unusually darker than other teams?

Los Angeles and Arizona come to mind. Are there any more? Should I lighten them or make all the other clubs' road jerseys that shade of grey?

Thanks!

Cards are looking great..

lemme run through the Style Guide tonight and let you know about the grey uniforms, i'll get back to you. i know that the Cardinals have gotten very dark over the years. The Reds's uniforms in game are very dark, but i'll check on every team and make a list of light and dark.

Oh man you are going to be a valuable asset to uniform guys like me if you have access to the style guide. I know a lot of teams deviate from that from time to time.

from time to time? heh...

from looking at the style guide, i've basically sorted both leagues into a darker grey and lighter grey lists. now i haven't looked in the game yet to see how each team looks in comparison to the style guide. it's odd though, the style guide has some teams where there is a lot of cyan or yellow in the grey. anway, here's my dark and light list. i honestly think you should stick with a standard version that meets in the middle, the shade of grey for away uniforms doesn't mean all that much.

DARK

Baltimore

Boston

Chicago (A)

Cleveland

New York (A)

Oakland

Toronto

Atlanta

Chicago (N)

Houston

Milwaukee

new York (N)

Pittsburgh

Saint Louis

San Francisco

LIGHT

Arizona

Cincinnati

Colorado

Los Angeles (N)

Miami

Philly

San Diego

Washington

Detroit

Kansas City

Los Angeles (A)

Minnesota

Seattle

Tampa Bay

Texas

to me it seems the pirates have the most accurate shade, after playing night and day games of course. Perhaps they all could be made that way...not sure if kc remembers mosers uniforms from mvp 05, but they all seemed to use the lighter gray for the road unis and if I remember correctly they used a standard color for all of them( not that they were better than kc's 2x set!). olipoo's post is interesting because I thought they all at least looked the same as if mlb had a standard color for road attire.

Moser and I would exchange ideas and our own creations from time to time. The color we agreed was #COCOCO I believe, but I'm not sure, it has been about several years now.

Having a universal color for road attire is going to be a challenge considering I did the minor league teams also
