yep, make a 64x32 pic all white called blank.bmp, make another all black 0,0,0 called blank-a.bmp. Open the ingameov.fsh with fshed and replace the late, early and perfects with the blank.bmp, you should see no pic after clicking update. Then save and open igonly.big in eagraph and import the ingameov.fsh

thanks biker, that's great. but I am clueless when it comes to modifying the graphics files :( Do you have this fix applied? If so, any chance you could send it to me? the igonly.big file looks fairly small. I don't even see a ingameov.fsh file? Thanks for your help.

Wrong. You take the alpha image and fill in wherever the text is located with black. Whatever is white is what shows up from the original file.

it was a way of creating a pic and alpha without extracting stuff which I thought might be tricky, seems I was right!

here is mine but it has the superb Trues (or maybe Ross' I'm not sure) NESN overlays from the dl area so it'll probably be removed soon
