The game itself is good......

The Choppiness and grass are a joke.....

They new this (choppiness) last year and did NOTHING to fix it!!!!!

It's running WORSE than last year.

And what happened to 1600X1200 Disply? What were they thinking?

I just got the game today and feel like I have been had.

I am SO pissed. They've made a fool of all of us!

I feel like smashing it against the wall!!!!

Doesen't anyone feel this way?

Who can I talk to at EA about this?

Anyone NOT having this CHOPPY problem?

All my other EA games run great!

My Specs:

Dell XPS Notebook

3.4G P4

1G Ram

Ati 9800 256MB DDR Ram

Disply at 1280X1024

You're pretty to the quire my friend. I've done everything and the kitchen sink to my video card to improve the choppy graphics. I was able to get '04 to run relatively smooth. IMO They have done something to make the PC version worse. I can't believe I spent my hard earned money on this junk. There better be a patch and soon.

YOU ARE REALLY MAKING ME SCARED 8O

I hope they do release a patch. I'm so discouraged to buy MVP05 right now. :x

I really hope they release a patch. EA could solve these issues with a patch. I am a little dissappointed, but I have resolved it some by certain settings on my video card.

You guys are right, the graphics aren't that good. I expect a patch to be coming pretty soon. If you look in the outfield you can see "Drawn Lines" where the grass meets the dirt <foul ground and warning track>. I really can see it in the Nationals ball park.

I just bought the game, and while it is decent to look at, it is just choppy, watching multiple balls flying in the replay (ghost balls from poor animation). The game also flickers, and the card board cutouts in the stands...... all detract from the game. not to mention the max resolution is a JOKE!!!!!!.

P4 3.2Ghz

1GB Ram

256MB Geforce FX6800

Resolution MAXED!!

i am just as disappointed as you are samoggi.

the choppiness is a pain but what i really can not deal with at all(especially after the graphic beauty of mvp 2004) is the florescent green snow of an outfield; it is really making the game unplayable for me.

i must say that the playability, fielding animations, and features like drag bunting are incredible and i am just keeping my fingers crossed that there will be a patch soon to correct choppiness and grass.

You have a High End System. Crank up antialiasing and anisotropic filtering and it will smooth it out some. This will slow down you video card, which sounds weird, but will smooth out the choppiness. This is not a complete fix.

I had waited for this game to come out with such anticipation, liken to my wedding night 23 years ago. Unlike my wedding night, I have never been so let down, totally dumbfounded and P.O.ed to the max.

MVP 2005 is a complete disaster graphically. They took the game back to the same graphic style of Triple Play 97, when all the players looked like zombies.

Here I am playing an exibition game using my Orioles and I thought that maybe a few of the players may not look like themselves but I did not expect the whole team to look like they came from NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD. It is just awlful. I am seriously considering taking the game back or writing EA Sports a letter demanding a refund. This is rediculous....Russ   :x
