Player Edits/Missing Players/CAPs

First I start with a way to search for players in the console version.

In Manage Rosters - Go to statistics ---> Career stats. Go to "Player Name" by hitting L1/R1 on PS2 and select the letter that starts their last name. You can search this way by playing level (MLB, AAA, AA, A). For instance, Mark Ellis and John Franco are not listed, thus NOT in the game.

Now for the players we need. Using this method, I found out Mark Ellis and John Franco are not jumbled somewhere but completely out of the game (unless PC modders find a hack to get them back).

Missing

2B Mark Ellis, OAK

RP John Franco, HOU

RP Scott Sauerbeck, CLE

RP Matt Miller, CLE

CAPs

2B Tadahito Iguchi, CWS

SP Keiiji Yabu, OAK

SP Dae Sung Woo, NYM

3B Norihiro Nakamura, LAD

IF Yuniesky Betancourt, SEA

SP Jorge Campillo, SEA

I am going to do some more search using ESPN's free agent tracker.

To answer your questions:

Jorge Campillo - no, he's not in the game.

All the top prospects are in AA. Just hit the Player Info button and find the Baseball America logo. They are under fake names but their positions, birthdays, heights and weights are all accurate. I am assuming ratings are as well.

Yeah I noticed John Franco...Odd that the other 3 are missing...As long as the roster modders notice and include them, we'll be good...I tried making CAPs for Iguchi and Betancourt, but its always kind of hard to make a good ratings set when you dont know how they'll perform against American pitching.

I have tried finding their MLE - Major League equivalency. I can find the post I had earlier that had Roberto Petagine's.

Petagine, Roberto - 2005 ZiPS Projection
