When altering text the amount of characters needs to be the same or less or the game will crash. NZA Posted January 12 Share Posted January 12 Hi There, Sorry to bother everyone however I need a resident REDitor II expert. I recently obtained a new computer (now with Windows 11) and am reinstalling programs. One problem, REDitor II 4.8 or 5.0 do not function. They do not even launch. No error (aside from the Invalid File Handle 32) during install. I installed as administrator. The program folder and .exe is included in my antivirus exception list. I blocked the program via firewall. I run the program as administrator. Still nothing. No launch whatsoever. Note the program launched and ran without issue on my old Windows 10 computer. If you have any advice that would be much appreciated.. Thanks for your time. Yes I considered to which I attempted to run the program via Windows compatibility mode - e.g. Windows XP, 7, 8, etc. Still no luck. My presumption is that other modders potentially have Windows 11 and still can access REDitor. Maybe I'm wrong.
