pet1
I just did this like i was doing it really. For anyone who wants to have the same exact roster for both platforms. Here is what you do. Just copy all of the dat files from any roster set exported by mvpedit to the data folder of the xbox and delete the database.big file in the database folder of the data folder. And you don't have to load any roster or upload any thing to your udata save info on the xbox itself. It just becomes the default roster. It works for pc and xbox. Maybe someone can confirm this on ps2. That'd be pretty nice it worked too.
pet1
Just wondering if anyone was able to confirm this on ps2. If so. I will be making rosters all season. They will be the the exact roster for every team as the season goes on.

pet1
It will be whatever the dat files are. So if your dat files have those players then the xbox will too.
Beltran15
Can you explain how to do this a little clearer Thanks...
pet1
Ok... First you need a modded xbox. If you don't have one, then you can't do it. What u do is. Copy the game to your xbox hd. After you've done that. Go to the folder in which the game was copied to. Then, go to the database folder which is located in the data folder of the game. In the database folder, rename the database.big file to database.off. This is better than deleting it because it's there if u need it in the future. After that's done, copy all of the dat files (all 18 of them) to the data folder of the game. That's it. Start the game and play. If you want to put the game on dvd from the hd, then u need to use qwix and create an iso image and burn that to disc.
LidsDude07
Sorry to burst your bubble PET1, but I think you left out a very important step. I did the steps you said since I have a modded XBOX, and it erased every roster in the game, and turned everyone to created players under the Free Agent list. I used the most current roster update on the forums for PC, and I imported, then exported them using MVPEdit. But what I think needs to be done, is taking all of the .dat files and making them a .big file, which I have no idea how to do.
LidsDude07
Ignore my last message. For some reason it wasn't copying one of the .dat files onto the hard-drive of my XBOX, but I have everything figured out now, and sorry if I sounded like an a*s, but I was just frustrated. Fiddy
ok this maybe a stupid question from a noob at the boards here but......... say you guys to what you just stated above and get ur updated rosters to ur modded xbox. now my question is, when you load up MVP and load up those rosters can you save them under a diff name and then post them under an Action Replay file for us guys that dont have a modded xbox? or will that not work? thxs guys :)
LidsDude07
Fiddy, I can definately try this if you'd like me to. If you have AOL or AIM, try and get in touch with me @ MicroMachinePunk and I'll try and hook you up. I don't want to post this under the actual download section, as it may become corrupted like some AR Files do while being transfered.
LidsDude07
I ran into a problem while doing it. MVP 2005 will not let me save onto the memory card. If anyone can tell me how to do this, then I can def. get you guys a roster.

Man I really didn't want to start my posting here with a question but i've done what you have said, and it completely freezes my game on bootup. I've tried putting all of the .dat files in various places instead of the data file in order to get it to work but unfortunately to no avail. The best I can get is putting the .dat files into the database folder to make the game actually work until it comes up to the roster selection screen. Btw I have used S and Kerm's updated roster .dats (seperately) if that's important.
