sask3m
Has anyone successfully done global edits with Ty's editor? I've been trying to edit some ratings globally but keep getting corrupt message when I try to load the roster in game.
furball
sask3m, I got the global edit to work ONCE out of 10 or 11 tries. I could kick myself for not keeping notes, and I haven't been able to replicate the success. I was trying to globally edit the ENERGY field on the Giants and their minor league clubs. I remember thinking it might have to do with if the team had more than just the 25 roster guys show up. (The Giants have 3 extra names that appear.) So, basically, I'm just bumping this because I REALLY would like to hear from someone who has "solved" this.
bangus
Not sure what the issue is, is it 2k12? Because I can globally edit 2K11 player ratings no problem ( I don't play 2K12).
dishnet34
Well, since this is in the 2K12 forum...
furball
Yes, it's a 2K12 problem. I think, somewhere, Ty even acknowledged that there was a difference in the 2K12 file format. I still use the editor for individual edits with no problems, but I'd be really grateful if someone could figure out how to get global edits working. I'd also happily try to bribe Ty to come back and tweak his editor for 2K12. I've tried the Redit demo but had some problems that make me shy away from paying for that editor. Another reason for me not to upgrade to 2K12 anytime soon.
