A Little Too Much?

I guess I love baseball and MVP! Even though a lot of you know I'm having problems with my "Missing Textures" in the PC Version, I am slowly getting around it, and not noticing since the gameplay is pulling me in. But anyways, what I mean by my topic, is that I have the PC, PS2, and XBOX versions of the game and I am going to try and do a synchronized season with the Mets on all 3 systems! You know, play 1 game a day on each system. Sure I may have no life, but as I see it, 3 hours playing MVP aint that bad, because I know mother-f'ers that play full length races on Nascar games. Anyways, tell me what you guys think about this, and also, if there are enough people interested, I will put up a small website to show statistics and see how the players are compared throughout the different versions.

PS: On a sidenote, if you want some majorly kick a** music to listen to while you are playing MVP, go out and buy Reggie & The Full Effect! They are an amazingly awesome band that Reeks Of Awesomeness! Yes, a cheap plug for them, but hey, when you are on the Street Team, you need to do this kinda stuff. And in my opinion, they are better than any of the music in MVP except the Dropkick Murphy's who's song "Tessie" goes great with the game since Manny is the coverboy and Boston were the World Champs!

All three systems...yea you must be bored. Since you do have it for all systems, I'd be more interested in your take on all three versions. Once the PC patch come out you may be able to make a more "fair" comparison, since the the PC version needs it to help out the graphics.

thanks.

Well, that's impressive then. I bought the PS2 version last night to tinker with till the dust settles in PC Mod land and I'm really enjoying it. I walked three times against Oliver Perez in 6 innings, fouls balls aren't all fly ball outs, and when you hit a HR...you can just tell it's because you nailed the location/pitch type combo.

Then I looked at the # of sliders and if they work it looks like they'll address all the variations people were looking for last year.

I'm impressed.

My favorite right now is the XBOX version, except I'm having trouble taking the PC rosters and putting them into XBOX files, most notably, a .big file. But once a patch comes out for PC since I'm doing the same thing 94blair is doing, which is waiting for a good bit of mods to come out, it will most likely be my favorite. But so far, I've done nothing but play exhibition games against my friends over the weekend where I went 13-3. And I used the Mets with a different pitcher each time. :D
