There's not really a patch. To put the Houston Astros in the American League West, open up your team.dat file, in your MVP database folder with Notepad.

Find this line:

00b87f3f1,0 Hou,1 Houston,2 Astros,3 HOU,4 1,5 4,6 22,7 0,8 1,9 0,10 0,11 0,12 1,13 0,14 0,15 0,16 0,17 0,18 0,19 0,20 1,21 0,22 0,23 0,24 0,25 0,26 0,27 0,28 2,29 2,30 0,31 2,32 2,33 2,34 1,35 0,36 0,37 1,38 0,39 0,40 0,41 2,42 1,43 2,44 2,45 1,46 1,47 2,48 2,49 1,50 2,51 1,52 2,53 1,54 0,;

and replace it with this line:

This has nothing to do with your question because Dylan answered it for you in detail. But for accuracy's sake why would anyone want to put Houston in the A.L. in the 2012 mod? This was their last year in the N.L. Why not wait for the 2013 mod?

Probably because some guys have done their own updating and want to play a '13 season now. It's unreal the number of The Show rosters were touted as being for the 2013 season and these things were coming out in late 2012! Some guys don't want to wait until the rosters settle. Lots of guys are gonna get released, like always.

I too see nothing wrong with Y4L's post. He simply asked why you would want to take the time to move Houston to the AL when an MVP13 mod was being developed.

As for your "typical New Yorker attitude" comment, that's out of line. It would be the same as if Y4L came back with something along the lines of your misunderstanding of his post was "typical hillbilly stupidity." There is enough stereotyping in the world. We don't need that on this site and as an admin, I won't put up with it. :mad:
