dlang
New to the game, trying to play on pro level. I have my hitting power and making contact sliders all the way to 50, but I'm still hitting weak grounders and weak flyballs. The couple of games I have played, I got 1 basehit each. Would like some tips and a complete set of slider settings that I can try. dlang
dubeau
Leave your hitting to zero. Instead try to slow the pitch speed. I put mine to -10, but i did begin at -27 at first. ONly give your self three choices when hitting: Left-middle-right. Go up when there is a high ball. Personnally i always find MVP hitting system totally ridiculous, so i can't wait for what will do Take Two next year.

As your reactions get better, you can raise the pitch speed back up. As for MVP's hitting system, the only time I ever try to hit a ground ball is when I have a weak hitter up, and I'm trying to advance a runner from 2nd to 3rd with less than two out. I always press up in any other situation, because I like to hit line drives.
