Updating The Date In Franchise?

I just installed the 2012 mod which I can already tell is amazing. I want to update the date though to 2012 in it and not 2005. Is there a mod to do this?

If you have tywiggins' Schedule Updater/Year Changer, you can change the year to 2012, rather than the default 2005. I believe it's included as part of MVP Baseball 1994.

1. When you get to the team select screen, ALT-TAB out of MVP.

2. Load Schedule Updater.

3. Select option 1 and change the year to 2012, and choose if you want players' ages to change.

4. Select option 3, and choose "4" to set the schedule to start on March 28.

5. ALT-TAB back into MVP and continue as usual.

Thanks! I got that far, but the issue is when I load schedule updater the windows pops open for a moment then closes immediately.

Hi, I have petep1980 same problem, did you find a way to resolve it?

Thanks

Same boat as you. I usually have no problems with it (been using it since the '08 mod) but it's the first time on this machine (Win7 x64) and I have this problem. Any help would be awesome!

I am having the same issue again and the last fix I tried failed, it open for a second then closes. You guys might try compatibility mode and run as administrator. Might fix your problem, but it has not on mine at the moment.

The year changer requires the .NET framework 2.0

I'm not sure about how it'll work with this, but I know with other programs I have used in the past, newer models were not capable of running programs based on the older models of the .NET framework. That could be your problem.

You can get the correct framework from microsoft's website
