mikewienerm
I have noticed that when I play against the computer, there have been many times when the opposing starting pitcher stays in the game even though his stamina is zero or he has given up a lot of runs and the manager does not take him out of the game For example, there have been times when I was trailing 4-2 in the 7th inning and then I tie the game up and the starting pitcher is still pitching even though there are pitchers warming up in the bullpen (this is just an example to kind of show you what I am talking about). In a real game, the manager would take out the pitcher as soon as the game is tied not let him stay in the there. Essentially, I am trying to say that the pitcher remains in the game longer that he actually deserves to. Does anyone else have this problem? Is there any way to make this part of the game more reaistic?
Gordo
You can do things to "help" the cpu by switching controllers and making the move for the cpu. I've noticed that sometimes they'll leave the pitcher in to bat in situations where they have no business doing so.
