JoeRudi26
Letsssss Gooooo Rangerssssss Jay, if you don't make the playoffs...Are you going to play as a team that did? Probably, Sean. Actually, I think I did that back in 2009 too. Seems I went on to play as someone, don't really remember. I'll post the standings in a bit, but off the top of my head, they're playing out like this (1st place teams): Toronto Detroit L.A. Angels/Oakland Philadelphia St. Louis L.A. Dodgers There are some closes races within, just can't remember exactly how it stands. I'll post them here in a bit, including the Wild Card Standings. JoeRudi26
If I don't make it, and from the teams I have to choose from, I'd go with Detroit without a doubt.

JoeRudi26
Texas went down easy in the first game 6-0. I have STILL yet to allow a run since the Minnesota series. The Angels lose, giving me a 2 game lead in the A.L.. West going into tonight's game.
JoeRudi26
The last 3 days have been ugly. I've dropped 3 straight and allowed the Angels to get back onto this thing. My 2 game lead has dissipated. A.L. West Standings A.L. Wild Card Tonight's matchup is Bartolo Colon (12-9, 3.05 ERA) vs Jared Weaver (15-6, 2.51)

JoeRudi26
I had to rest my starters for the first game of the Angels series. There was no getting out of it. Hopefully I can bounce back and get the win tonight, putting me back at the top of the division. Fingers crossed.
JoeRudi26
I'm still in shock today. Total breakdown. Too stunned to even move as it was all coming down.

JoeRudi26
All I need to know is did you end up breaking anything because I would have. I think after the game was over, all I could do was stare at the T.V. I don't even know how long I sat there dumb struck. Josh Hamilton started off the 9th with a home run, the next thing I know there are two on with no one out, then Mike Trout homers to tie the game. After that, it's all a blur. JoeRudi26
Just a bit of info, per the teams listed above, Minnesota, Seattle, and Houston all have losing records. Hopefully I can gain some ground in both the Twins and Mariners series', with Texas helping me out a bit vs the Angels.
laroquece
The good news is the Angels close the season against the Rangers and you @ Seattle
JoeRudi26
I absolutely destroyed Minnesota. Got down 2-0 in the top of the first, Cespedes went on an absolute tear. 3 doubles, all off the left field wall, 4 RBI's, and by himself sent Minnesota back to the showers. Rangers won, Angels were off. Will post tomorrow. I'm in no way religious, but I'm on a mission from something above. What a season.
seanzarelli
That's your problem with LAA, Jay. Hamilton is 40+/150+ No way in hell he should be doing that in the game. Should have rerated him like I did
