wonjae1001
Hey guys, Im a newbie in MVPmods, but I've played mlb 2k12 in pc as soon it was released until now, and I've been modding just as long. I'm a part of the Korean MLB2k Modding Site MLBGAMEMANIA, and I'm currently creating a roster with the 'perfect' ratings. However, I'm struggling with finding which equation/formula would be the best to use for finding out ratings. I've visited wudl and DetroitStyle's posts, but they weren't that much of a help either. Any modding virtuoso here who's willing to help me with this? Thanks in advance for helping a newbie like me Edited September 3, 2013 by wonjae1001
jeremyamac
I'm not an experienced modder but I think I can help. I don't know of any 'formulas' that could accurately create perfect ratings but I do know how basic ratings work. Contact For ratings select the players usual performance Check their stats vs. LHP and RHP Contact: .330-.320 AVG = 95-97 Contact .320-.310 = 92-95 .300-.310 = 89-91 .290-.300 = 86-88 .280-.290 = 82-85 .270-.280 = 79-81 .260-.270 = 76-78 .250ish players =70-74 .240-.250 = 67-69 .230 and below = 56-66 Power: 50-60HR's = 96-99 40-50HR's = 93-95 35 HR = 90 30 HR= 85-89 25 HR= 82-84 20 HR = 77-81 15 HR = 73-76 10 HR = 69-72 5 HR = 58-68 Eye: From my understanding Power is very well complimented by Eye so a good power hitter should have high Eye ratings 75-90 If a player BB's a lot they should also have high Eye ratings Speed: 60 SB's and up = 99 50-60 SB's and up = 93-98 40 SB= 90-92 30 SB= 85-89 20 SB= 81-84 10 SB= 77-80 5 SB= 70ish Hope that helps! I know this from playing the game a lot and tweaking the rosters myself. As for pitchers, that's much more complicated and I can't help you. Just remember there really isn't a way to get 'perfect' ratings because a players performance is often quite unpredictable.

Thanks so much, That was a lot of help, I'm still stuck with the pitchers, but I'm trying to keep myself neutral and give some fair ratings to all players.
