Edtench Posted October 19, 2013 Share Posted October 19, 2013 I have searched all over this site to see how this is done but can't find any information. The MVP 2008 mod saves the game in it's own folder called MVP Baseball 2008 rather than the default folder. I would like to be ablle to do this for the various mods I have. Jim825 Posted October 20, 2013 Share Posted October 20, 2013 I believe that when he worked on the MVP08 mod, Kraw did something the the mvp2005.exe file itself to change the location of the save folder. If you look at the date stamp on the mvp2005.exe, you will see that it has a 2008 date rather than the 2004 or 2005 date like the .exe file that came with the game. Gordo Posted October 21, 2013 Share Posted October 21, 2013 I think if you take an .exe file and change it to a zip, rar or 7z file, you MIGHT be able to then open it with something like WinRAR and then manipulate it if it's not encrypted.
