Gordo Posted October 24, 2013 Share Posted October 24, 2013 Decided to simulate each game (x5) with actual line-ups in keeping with the recently announced rosters including St. Louis bringing back Allen Craig (and demoting Adron Chambers). I'll attempt to post results with actual game time line-ups: Game 1 (Lester v. Wainwright) Result 1: STL 9 - BOS 4 (HR: M. Carpenter (3 rbis), Ellsbury, Ortiz; Molina 4/5) Result 2: STL 7 - BOS 4 (HR: Beltran, Freese, Ortiz; Freese 3/4, Napoli 3/4) Result 3: BOS 8 - STL 5 (HR: Carpenter, Molina, Ellsbury, Gomes; Napoli 3/4) Result 4: BOS 8 - STL 4 (HR: Holliday, Craig, Bogaerts, Drew; Holliday 3/4) Result 5: STL 7 - BOS 4 (HR: Beltran, Holliday; Beltran 4/4 w/ 3 rbis) Conclusion: StL takes gm 1 by at least 2 runs. I do need to go back and make sure that stamina was 100% for everyone on the Sox....could have been the differing factor...... and possibly re-run it.
