spiroevil
I just think Franco is WAY too exaggerated to use for anyone except Julio Franco. The only guy I can think of that even comes close to looking like that in real life is Kevin Millar. The reason there isn't great variety in stances is because a lot of the stances in the game are so outlandish that they can't be used for more than a couple players (Bent, Franco, High, pretty much all of the old-fashioned ones, Sierra, Batista, and a bunch of others). Carlos Guillen is definitely Renteria. Renteria doesn't fit as perfectly with Youkilis or Martinez but it's still the best of the available options. spiroevil
Just another point on Derrek Lee: I think the reason everyone gives him such upright, rigid stances is because he LOOKS like he's upright on TV because he's so damn tall. But if you really look close you'll see that he's about halfway between upright and crouched.

jollydodger
I realize Lee is tall and bends his knees, etc. Another player like him is Alex Rios....Lee and Rios seem to have a Bernie Williams-type stance, but taller or more upright, with the tense knee bend. We can nitpick all day, but its just that some of these suggestions make me question whether these people even watch baseball.
spiroevil
Yeah, I have to agree. Some of the ones I see both on here and on my site just make me scratch my head. kma15
does anybody have any ideas for francisco liriano's delievery? he throws sort of sidearmed i've tried pedro martinez and oliver perez and they both seemed a bit off..anybody have any ideas?
jollydodger
I think type 11 is kinda sidearm-3/4....10 is submarine, and 11 is semi-sidearm. Try it. I don't know enough about Liriano's release to suggest anything else.
jollydodger
Another player you could use Franco for is Endy Chavez.
KyleMan
Here's a few that I've come up with: (not any any order by any means) Pie = Delgado Glaus = Generic Ludwick/Polanco = Fullmer Felipe Lopez = Walker Hunter Pence = Walker ryan Braun = A. Jones A. Jones = Beltre
KyleMan
I guess you could give Jose Reyes and Orlando Hudson the Delgado stance. Nady could possibly be Walker... For youkilis I use Renteria... it looks awful, but eh. I guess Franco could be a good option too. Maybe not. IDK. I don't see how Vina's would work
KyleMan
Anybody have a pitching delivery for Jake Peavy? I use Pettite, which sucks. Prior would be a good possibility, but his arms don't go above his head in that wind up. Any suggestions?
wrigleyville33
what would you guys use for bj upton, iwamura, crawford, and carlos pena? And what would you use for sonnanstine?
plunger021
Iwamura, I would probably use ichiro. doesn't Iwamura kind of bail out like that?
kgbaseball
Iwamura is just like Ichiro. And Sonnanstine fits the Greg Maddux delivery.
LupeFiasco
What do you think is the best for BJ Upton and Carlos Pena? I think Lester should be Glavine and Garza should be Mark Mulder.
KyleMan
Ichiro fits Iwaruma pretty well. For Lester, Mulder or Glavine work. For Garza, maybe Morris? For Pena, I use either Walker or c. Jones... For Upton, I use Ordonez. I could be wrong. Anybody have a good delivery for Peavy or Kazmir?
jollydodger
Pena is kinda like A-Rod's stance, from the left side. Crawford's stance has become similar to Coco Crisp's, who I have as Walker. Neither of them move their body like that, but their body is similarly posed.
KyleMan
Besides the crappy wiggle in the Burnitz option, I think that that best fits Crisp. I use C. Jones for Crawford... And for Sonnastine I use the Redman pitching delivery, because of the weird arm mechanics.

KyleMan
Here's some stances for the NL Central I've come up with: Astros: Bourn: Walker/Delgado/Crouched (I use Garciaparra) Rodriguez: Generic/Ordonez Berkman: A. Rodriguez (pretty darn close IMO) Lee: A Rod as well (maybe Walker, his is a harder stance to master) Tejada: Ordonez Pence: I use Walker, but the Bagwell stance doesn't look to bad either. Brewers: Weeks: Sheffield or Everett Hardy: k. Matsui maybe... a reall tough one. Fielder: Walker Braun: Klesko Hart: Arod Cameron: Beltre Billy Hall: Walker? Kendall: Giles Cardinals: Schumaker: I use the Ortiz stance, the Burnitz stance works well too. Rasmus: Walker stance (pretty close) Ludwick: the only stance that comes close to replicating his weird stance is the Fullmer stance Ankiel: Ordonez Greene: This one is a doozy. I've use the Walker stance, the Rodriguez stance, and the Ordonez stance. None of them seem to fit well. Molina: Here's another quirky stance problem. Walker/Rodriguez/C. Jones/Crouched/Williams. Take your pick Thurston: Ortiz (perfect) Barden: Generic Duncan: A Rod B. Ryan: H. Matsui LaRue: Crouched/Generic Cubs: Theriot: K. Matsui D. Lee: L. Gonzalez Ramirez: Thome/Giambi Fukudome: Alou Johnson: Piazza Fontenot: Ordonez Soto: crouched Miles: Reggie JAckson Pirates: McLouth: Walker Sanchez: Walker Doumit: C. Jones Wilson: Ordonez maybe? Moss: AROD Juan Pierre wannabe (Morgan): H. Matsui Adam LaRoche: Giambi Reds: Tavaras: Ordonez Bruce: Walker maybe? Votto: Beltre Phillips: C. Jones Encarnacion: couldn't really find a good one. I use the Garciaparra stance Gonzalez: h. Matsui Hernandez: Chipper The Guy in left (name escapes me thanks to a fever of 101): AROD
