I have no idea why you are getting that message. I wish I could help you. All I know is that there is nothing wrong with the link. I don't know how you can fix that.

Okay. I didn't think so. Just wanted to check and see if anyone else is getting it. I don't know what happened. I've tried everything. Such an important tool. Teaches me for not backing up my files. I guess I'll just try again tomorrow.

Thanks for the help.

Yes it is an important tool. But there should be no reason why you can't download it. Does it time out all the time you try? I'll log back on here tomorrow to see if you can finally get this file.

i think every topic needs to end with thingy from now on. but yea idk how to help you with that. maybe its a firewall problem? idk.

It did turn out to be a problem with my security (avast). Strange that it had a problem with just that file, but I finally got it.

Thanks to the both of you.

  • 3 weeks later...

Hi all;

I've downloaded and installed Total installer thingy to my MVP2005 root directory. When I click on the execute file I get a message that support files are missing. I have MS C++ 2005 and net framework 2, 3, and 3.5 installed, so I don't know what the program is asking me for.

I'd appreciate any help with this please.

Thanks,

Cheers
